Well i figured id give it another shot. Ive been stranded with nothing but a box for almost 2 years now, and im really really trying to find a cart only copy that someone could sell. How on earth did you end up with just the box? Finding a CII *without* the box is like finding an R9.9 heheh. That's gonna be pretty tough, but here's a lead that may or may not help:

Jumpman on DP is (I think) the only guy known to have a loose CII. Now, he completed his NES set all loose and decided to go CIB afterward. I have no idea how committed he is, but if you're lucky, you just may be able to convince him to sell you his loose CII and then put that money toward a CIB CII which would save two people from trying to piece together this "collector's only/always CIB" game.

hey dude, well i got just the box from Qixmaster a long time ago. i traded him an extra caltron 6 in 1 manual for his cheetahmen box, clu clu land box, and about 23 NES carts needed at the time. It was a pretty good trade because the extra caltron manual was just in my CIB copy and the guy i got it from never even mentioned he had 2. So since then ive had this stupid box just sitting here empty lol. As far as loose cheetahmens, there are a couple of people who have them, but i cant seem to get any of them to budge. theres a dude at DP under the name carlcarlson or something like that, and he thinks his cart only is worth like $300.00++ so i cant get him to budge on a god deal. I know jumpman has one too, theres also somebody at nesworld who found one in a lot of like 6 games on ebay for a BIN of $30.00. I tried contacting him about 2 months ago and still didnt budge lol. I have also tried to get jumpman's from him, but he wants me to buy a sealed one and then sell him my box lol. So its kinda vice versa there lol. But i have this forum posted at DP as well and i guess if jumpman or anyone else over there, would wanna sell his..... he'll contact me this time around. I dont think hes all CIB crazy though. i just think he wanted them all. So i guess we'll see what turns up :-/

Well I don't know what the market is for people who want the just the CII box is, but it might be a good idea to jump on that offer while it's still available. You'll make back half (or more) of the money you spend on the sealed/CIB one in the long run anyway.
