I am subscribed to several threads and I get emails sent to me whenever someone posts in the thread.  When I click the link in the email to go look at the thread, it always takes me to the OP instead of the most recent posts.

I think it would be better if the link in the email either put me directly at the post that triggered the email, or just the last post in the thread in general.

That would be helpful, but an extra click for the last page isn't a huge deal. I do see your point though!

I find it especially painful on the mobile site where it's time consuming to scroll to the bottom of the last page.  On desktop it's not that bad I'll agree!
