Hello. I'm a 13-year-old who just started collecting NES games recently. Currently, I own 11 games. Try and beat that one. =P

I just found a local game store and I hope to be getting some good deals there. I usually just go to Salvation Armies, though (no Goodwills where I am). See ya around!

13!! Thats crazy! Good to see you're not just collecting stuff like N64, which seems to be more of 'your era.' You collecting NES games only adds to the theory of "as long as Nintendo keeps making games, people will want to collect the old stuff"
Good to see you here!

Thanks! Actually, believe it or not, the N64 era was just ending when I started getting into video games. I used to buy N64 games used at GameStop and I used to play SNES at my cousin's house. Ever since then I've been playing old games.

My nephew is just turning 7, and he already has over 50 NES games... so you're never too young to start! Keep at it and you'll be surprised how many carts you'll have this time next year

-------------------------

My mantra, as worded by SamSpade on 06/12/12:
I don't resell to fund my collection, I don't treat this hobby like a second job, I don't care if my collection is worth ten bucks or ten thousand because I never plan on selling it. Seriously, what does the value have to do with anything if you never plan on selling? Speculation doesn't mean jack shit to me at this point, I just want to play my nes games...

You are by FAR the youngest member. The next youngest is probably 17 or so. Most of us are in our late 20's, early 30's.

N64 is even stretching it more his era... I got one when I was like 12 and that was like almost 12 years ago.

Very few games interest me on Xbox 360, actually. Unless Banjo Kazooie 3 ever comes out.

There's one member who is 14, but I don't recall who. So that makes you most likely the youngest. Good to see a new generation enjoying my generation's games -- have fun, and welcome!

Welcome, always room for one more. You can spend hours just reading all the old conversations, there's lots of knowledge just in the forums alone. But feel free to ask any new questions too!

Fortunately, I have no house to pay for! But unfortunately, I'm too young for a job.
