Here is your Last chance to get a physical copy of One of the greatest JRPG's that ever came out on the famicom- PLAYABLE ON YOUR NES!!!!

"In the 22nd century, mankind has begun to emigrate into outer space. Constructed at a lagrange point were three huge space colonies: the Isis Cluster (two artificial biospheres, named Land-1 and Land-2, and a satellite). In the year Isis 0024 (55 years after the cluster was constructed), however, a biohazard outbreak occurred on Land-2. All attempts at contact were met with nothing but static. Now a research team led by pilot Gene approaches Land-1."

This is the Auction thread for the remainder of the copies available to the public for my limited release (25 copies) of Lagrange Point.

It will be for copies 11-19.

I had always heard that Lagrange Point was an amazing RPG with outstanding music (thanks to the konami VRC7 chip)- However it was on famicom, and in japanese!  I found out an english translation existed, so I set out to see how I could get this onto an NES cart and still keep the music.  I teamed up with aarone, and we have been working on it since.  We were able to figure out how to stuff a translated copy into an nes cart, and have put together the copies you see before you!

I chose to start this project because I really want people to experience this game.  Not only is it fun, the music is amazing!
- This is the first time (to my knowledge) it has been available for play on the NES, with the full musical score*(aside from the proto).
THIS WILL BE THE ONLY RELEASE OF THIS GAME WE DO.
- This game is not available for emulation on actual hardware
- Works on both Top loaders and front loaders
- There are (5) 3 screw carts sprinkled in (the rest of the donors were 5 screw carts) it is a mystery which ones are which!

Due to the overwhelming amount of interest I got on the first10 of these through a normal sale, I chose to go with a "neo-style" (thanks neodelphino) auction format to make it fair for the rest of the people since not that many copies are available.  I didn't want someone to miss out on a copy due to real life obligations.  Because of this, I am going to donate 10% of the auction winnings to NA- the rest of the money will go to the cost of purchasing all the parts, the people who worked on it and future releases.

Special thanks to those that made this release possible:
-Aarone: Cart Fabrication, Labels, Manuals, soldering, brains
-Millerjim2 : Boxes
-K3vbot: Cart fabrication
-Rizz: Sleeves

Included in Each copy:
- Box with protector (numbered)
- Color Factory Translated 14 page manual (abridged version)
-Custom sleeve (numbered)
-Lagrange Point Cart
-Custom dyed and modified cart (made from donors)
     -Vinyl Label (numbered)
     -Custom back label
     -New save battery
     -Authentic Lagrange Point PCB
     -Translated eprom
-A print out on how to perform the extra channel resistor mod
-Resistors for both top loader and front loader

Auction Rules :

This auction will utilize the 1-bid style, But with a change that neodeplhino first used, that I thought worked well.

The auction will run for an undisclosed amount of time. ( a moderator has been notified of the end date)
   - I reserve the right to end the auction at any time,  for any reason.
You are only allowed ONE bidThis is your ONLY bid unless you bid in the first 24 hours of the auction.  If you do bid in the first 24 hours, you are awarded ONE EXTRA bid that may be used at ANY TIME.
- You must be a member before the start of the auction to be eligeable.
-The bidding STARTS at 175.00( the amount the first 10 sold at)
-Shipping in the US is free, Canada is 15$ extra
-YOU MAY NOT Lower your bid.
-Please bid in 1.00 increments
-You may not bid the same amount as somone else- if they raise their bid, that bidding amount comes back available
-This is for copies 11-19
- Highest bid gets lowest number, etc.  COPY NUMBER 11 IS SPECIAL.  The cart did not have to be modified ( something different was tried that worked).

Some general info about this auction:

ONLY 9 COPIES ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME

- Only available to members that were members before this day (I reserve the right to not sell to HoS members, etc.)
- Only 20 total copies will be available to general public
- Payment will be Paypal goods only

*********PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING***************

The only way you can experience the full musical score on original hardware is if you have the extra channel resistor mod done to your top loader or front loader!  The game will still work fine, its just the music will be severely lacking.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.

One of the difficult parts of pulling off this reproduction is the fact that the Lagrange Point donor is too large to fit into a NTSC-U cart shell, after adding the pin converter.

That being the case, the boards had to be modified a good bit in order to get them to fit inside the shells, but even then, the shells had to be modified on the back side to allow space for the save battery.

AaronE worked some magic on one of them (#11) and was able to get the entirety of the board into a shell without needing to modify the top of the shell like all the rest needed to be modified.

You would have been ok, for the time being, either way as dannyplante used his rebid option
I updated my post above with the current standings.

Haha, yeah I made one myself to see what was what and I think I did his rebid as another bid. Too early, no coffee.
