Hi everyone!

We're counting down the days until our convention!

Our new venue is bigger and better than ever at Xtaza in the Strip District.  Tons of parking, close proximity to restaurants and foods vendors like CRAZY!
Tickets can be purchased here
Vendor space is limited at this point.  As of right now we have one table left.

Day of events:
Cosplay Content
SSB Melee Tournament
SFIV Tournament
Cosplay Auction

Final panels announcements coming after the holidays are done and out of the way!

We are also releasing Germ Squashers.  100% of the proceeds will go to the Children's Hospital.  We are doing a LE, a boxed release, and a regular release.  It's ported to Android and iOS as well, but, available for sale on the NES & Sega Genesis.  Pre-sale will take place the week before the convention.  I'll get some details up later!

What does it mean to be a kid?

It means something different for everyone. At Children's Hospital, it's hospital visits, treatments, and weeks away from school. We believe it means much more than that. Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh sees more than a million unique children each month, leading the way with some of the worlds most renowned specialists and research team.  We want to help!

Pittsburgh Retro Gaming Convention is an event with a singular focus: supporting a great cause through a medium that we love with gaming!  From retro games to table top and cosplay, our attendees travel from around the east coast to drink the atmosphere we produce.  When we were growing up, games were something the whole family could share and enjoy together from board games and D&D to two player Super Mario Bros on your NES.

8 Bit Evolution is also releasing an exclusive game, with all proceeds going to the same initiative.  Germ Squashers will be cross-platform released two player experience where you can choose a boy or girl character, defeating germs and completing levels to get the ultimate prize: a Super Flu Shot.

We have two goals for funds raising:

1.  Sell tickets, even if those people aren't coming, to bolster what we can do for Children's.

2.  Get some cool exposure for the game that goes to the same cause.

The facebook page for our convention is here.

Anyone that wants to donate any prizes in exchange for a logo, some social media love, etc, reach out!  Anyone who can share can message me directly on here, or, at [email protected]

Thanks NA :-)
