You could do it really easily through Google Maps by creating a custom map and opening it to the public, anyone could add a pin with whatever info they'd like. You could include your NA name and what you collect, for example.

This is a cool idea, I took some initiative set up a public Google Maps (hope you don't mind OP, I pretty sure I can make you an owner since this is your idea).
I'm confident that I've done this right and made it public, but you may have to PM me your email address (or post on this thread) so I can add you. All users can edit the map, and all users can invite other users. Bare with me as I'm still new to a shared map.
Had to participate just because I got the honor of being the first one outside North America! Would be interesting to see 100 %, heck, even 50 % representive map..
