The numbers are the heads-up display. They're part of the aircraft.

Maybe he meant some other numbers, then. He just mentioned that in passing and wasn't real clear on it, figuring we'd talk more about it later if we wanted to publish it.

It's possible that the HUD doesn't function correctly.  I can't really tell from the pictures.

Normally, in an F16, you have an AoA indicator, an airspeed tape, a sideslip indicator, and an attitude indicator.

It looks like that screen is missing a few, and without seeing it in motion it's tough to judge which ones are actually present.

This looks interesting for a flight sim. Is the repro cart being made "as is" or is it getting the Sara Parker treatment?

The 8 US released NES games I haven't seen the endings to are:
Gemfire, L'Empereur, Miracle Piano Teaching System, Nobunaga's Ambition II, Pirates, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 2, Silent Service and Uncharted Waters.

Koei is not my friend. Miracle Piano probably doesn't have an "ending," but perhaps there is some kind of reward when you finish the hardest lesson (or at least one of the sub games)?

Adam: No modification will happen to the ROM. The only thing I would even consider the possibility of looking into is if something can be done about the graphical glitch at the title screen. The seller said it wasn't there years back, so I assume it's from bit rot. If that could be fixed, I would consider reporing that version while still releasing the unaltered ROM, though there is a 99.999999% chance that we'll just release it as is.

I remember reading back when you were still getting through Super Glove Ball, good luck on the remainder of the games!

That said, there is a "trick" to reading partially bit-rotted EPROMs... read them at a lower voltage. If you power the chip with 4v instead of the usual 5, you have a better chance of getting data from "weak" gates. Not a definite science by any means, but, like putting a failed hard drive in the freezer, it sometimes works - and you have nothing to lose.

You know what we need, we need a release list like EB/GS have for these type of releases because I can't keep track of that what is coming out...just like the old Nintnedo Power days:

Future Homebrew/Reproduction Releases
Chuck Yeager-Oct 2010 (From Nowhere Productions)

Super Duper Truper Ultra Mega Contra II-December 2010 (CO NAM E)

Future Releases:
Battle Kid II
War on Wheels

Etc, that would be pretty cool so we know what we are looking forward to because I can't keep track myself...

That would be great if the ezine had a "Coming Soon" section/sidebar towards the end. Then we could look back and see what unreleased games went further unreleased lol!

Far from dead, just finding time for it. Matt and I both teach, just opened our own gym, and sell Genesis repros with some serious regularity. Yeager is something we still plan to do, and soon at that. When we do it, it's gotta be done well, so it is going to take some time.
