Nesboy, just read the rules in the first post, they explained all the questions I've had at least.

We're just putting it on the dummy webpage to show what it would look like. It isn't required.

And if anyone needs help converting their file to print format, let me know. I sort of do this for a living.

I just joined today, and I'm excited about this...

I believe I can actually win this.

This is just some rough thing I put together for an idea...

A friend of mine can make it look all beautiful and such, but I was just wondering if you all thought this was decent?

I don't care much for it, but I don't want to discourage you from "thinking you can win this."

DaronMalakian17: For some reason, I don't think that logo would be allowed, as it takes advantage of the Triforce symbol/logo (which, as far as I know, is protected by intellectual property rights, though I could be wrong here...).

Well, there is a tool company that has the same logo, so I'm not sure.

It has less to do with the assembly of three triangles in a specific way, and more to do with the context in which the three triangles are protrayed. Obviously now that Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Donatello and Raphael are registered trademarks, art galleries don't have to put disclaimer text at the bottom of their painting labels. But if someone wanted to make either toys, or a new cartoon that used those names that's where the infringement would be.

Decided to brush up my favorite of the bunch. It's overlayed on a random screenshot (I think talespin or whatever) to simulate a future magazine cover, just to show it stands out distinctly. This is good on white alone as well. This is probably my final submission as I'm concentrating on the newsletter from this point on.

Burdger, I really like your first one. I would try making the text bigger and the symbol smaller and arranging them a little differently, but definitely a good submission. Keep them coming guys.

DAIN - Would you prefer to have ".com" on the end of your print and/or web logos?

I could go either way on this really. I would think that it would be more appropriate for the print logo and not so much for the web logo, but if it adds something to it, I don't see any harm.
