On a more serious note, I've played EarthBound today for so long, I feel all tense and mentally worn out.
Then you called your mother and felt better?

Wow, that is at least 3 hours drive for me! I am going to pass on that.
Are you guys going to stay north of Seattle? I would be up for early Saturday if it was South Sound region. In fact, maybe I will hit up the flea Market in Tacoma on Saterday...not usually anything good, but fun to walk around on a nice day.

Now this is a tough decision.... Anacortes or Tacoma... Anacortes is about 66 miles north of me and Tacoma is about 50 miles south of me.

So who is going North and who is going South. I myself would like to go up to Anacortes, anyone else south of Lynnwood or Kirkland going North that I could perhaps ride with? My car should not try to attempt this weekends journey northbound.

Yeah I'd be down for whatever. Another idea to keep in mind could be a sort of "exchange" or something. Everyone brings items and games they have available/for trade and have a get together like that too. Might be fun for people who don't have a ton of money.

Saturday mornings I usually hit up some of Beni's schedule above - B&I in Tacoma, the Star Lite swap meet (next to B&I), Al's Music in Tacoma and Federal way, and Game Lobster in Federal Way. I'll take a look on CL for any garage sales that mention games too. Would be fun to do that journey with a few others!

Well tomorrow I am heading north to Anacortes. Anyone want to go, we can meet in Lynnwood and I'll drive north.

I was thinking maybe those who live south of seattle, I might be up for doing some on Sunday down south.

I've only been to the B&I from your list. Have you ever found anything there?  I've gone maybe a total of 5 times and all I ever find is overpriced games.

I don't go there anymore not because it is over priced, because the guy and his son that work there don't do shit. They sit behind the counter, you have to "bother" them to look at a game. And if you want to know the price on a game, they throw out $15.
I thought I got one past them when I saw Dragon Warrior 4...the kid said $15 from behind his desk, I asked to look at condition, he got up, got it out for me and noticed it was priced at $50. He told me it was $50 not $15. I asked why did he say $15, he thought I meant the first one." So I said whatever and dropped it on the glass and have not been back in months.
They suck and don't ever get any of my money...until I see BB2 for $15

I know exactly what you mean. I hate going to places that treat the customer that way. The only reason I go back there is for my wife. She loves the Bionicos there.

There is a small place on Pacific Ave. that advertises on CL... They are in the Pacific Run Antique Mall on Pacific Ave. off the 512 freeway. I may go see them Sunday...

Yeah I've been there and even Super Mario Brothers would be $15. Although somehow I managed to get a complete Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu for only $6 if I remember correctly. Maybe that day they were thinking "Well I need to sell at least one game today"

I'm going to swing by there on Sunday maybe... I have a semi-big deal I'm working on over in that area. If it happens, I'll swing on in to see what's up there.

Been in there a couple of times since my wife works right down the road.
I get the impression they are new collectors that are trying to become resellers. I tried to talk NES with them and they did not know much, even about common sense type stuff. "What's a famicom/converter. 5 screw vs 3 screw? Never noticed?"
Not a very good selection of games for any system, and what they had was over priced...even for a desperate collector like me.
Keep driving down and hit NW Toys, he is cooler

NW Toyz is cool... Little on the cluttered side, but do have a decent selection...

I'm working on a CL deal right now... Waiting to get some coordination to get the deal done. If this happens, I'll be heading to Star Lite, and maybe the Antique run Mall, and NW Toyz... I'll know more in a little bit...
