I won! Yeah I'm pretty bad at this game. I feel like I got lucky with this score. I probably lost 2/3 of the games I played. My previous best score was 10 - 11 .

I can occasionally hit the goal with the wing off of the face-off, so I see how such high scores are possible but I can't consitently hit them. Thanks for the tip Caleb47.

Anyone else have any pointers?

I was on my way to take you down Caleb, ended up scoring 19 goals in the 1st period, 16 in the 2nd, and once again choked during the 3rd period and only got 10. My thumb was killing me towards the end and the computer kept winning the faceoffs. I've always enjoyed this game growing up so I'm glad it was one of the games this season.

Nice scores everyone! So I have to ask: Have you guys tried passing the puck into the goal? I find that it works a lot better than shooting with the normal shot button. The goalie always covers the arrow, so it's relatively easy to just skate around him and score.

I had actually thought about this during one of my play throughs but never tried it. I feel like it would also be more beneficial since you are vulnerable to being knocked down during the shooting animation.

Yeah haha I got that score after a couple hours of playing on Friday and then didn't play any more to let the thumb heal up. Usually don't have any problems like that but this game definitely wore that thing out haha
