This copy belongs to me - I am just putting it out there to see what kind of interest there is.  This is the same book that has exchanged hands w/several members on this site ---not in any hurry to sell it, just measuring it

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

this is the kind of item that will be interesting to see run its course. maybe $2500 isnt too far off to assume, but the market of collectors for a SE manual, well im sure you could count it on 2 hands. what you could have done is put a $1200 BIN on it and see what happens. didnt the last one sell for $800?

I really didn't want to sell it for $1,200 - I'd rather keep it at that price - and the last one sold for more than $800. On another note, I had a zero feedback buyer on this thing which cost me like $80. Anybody know how to handle this through ebay? Sorry, I don't sell enough

Haven't done one in a while, but you can file a claim. However, keep in mind the buyer does have some time to come up with the payment though. 0 feedback, not saying he/she will though.

Go to My Ebay -> Sold Items, then find your item in the list. At that item, after the title, bids and sold price, click the pulldown menu at the far right. Select "Resolve a Problem." Then select Payment not received. It will open a case and they have 4 days to respond, if they don't you can click back in and Request Final Value Fee Credit will be unlocked. Then you get your $ back.

Thanks guys - I'll certainly give him some time, but it looks like he's bought a LOT from a couple people on this site - so hopefully he's run into a fortune--but I doubt it :@

After reading this thread I went back to check my eBay watch list. Not only did your manual sell, but ihavethatpma's box/cart combo sold for a $9,000 BIN. Either he just made out like a bandit, or the same dick head killed his auction too.

I saw that it sold last night, then looked up 1upped's manual and found it was gone too. But yeah, it's the same guy... I'm hoping he'll pay, but I doubt it will happen!

This is the kind of stuff that makes me so resistant to sell on eBay...you guys are so much easier to deal with.

Wow, that's awesomely lame of that person if they did it for S&G.  There's certainly a chance that they wanted to piece the two together though, so I got my fingers crossed for you!

Correct.  Having wrote it as S&G, I don't think I ever will again.  Full-blown profanity from now on.

you have to wonder about the mind frame of these losers (whether or not this guy is one of them) that ruin auctions for fun.   Get a life!

WTB Cdn sealed black boxes, sealed Cdn first party titles.    I.e. the "mattel" Cdn boxes with both french and english.   Mainly black boxes, zelda, link, and tyson, but let me know what you have.    I am interested in anything I don't already have!

It never happens with 99 cent items listed with free shipping. When it only happens to the high priced items then you have to assume it is jealousy.

Only way around it is to list it as a BIN with immediate payment.
