Boot toss - I got 30' about 80%-90% of the time, though if I started to get tired I'd look at the swirling arm and become totally befuddled and unable to do it
Pogo - I had to practice this shit about 100 times before I finally got used to the terrible controls. Could get all 4 bars about 80% of the time after that
Overboard - never understood this shit
Pizza - I could get all the pizzas about 10% of the time. The other 90% of the time I'd lose like 4 at once because I got slightly too fast with the rythm
River jump - Couldn't do it, then did it twice, then couldn't do it 200 straight times. Then I realized (or read on youtube) what to do and did it 100% of the time
Pogo was a wildcard for me. My troubles began with how I started off. If I cleared the first hurdle, I typically could get at least one more. Many times I'd get all 4. But that damned first hurdle would take me out about 50% of the time. It did get better in later runs though.
Overboard seems very straight forward, but as time went on, I felt I had to work harder at it. I'd randomly lose once in a while. I must have been mashing the buttons too early
River jump - I would go in spurts of having success with it. My experiences seem to be similar to yours. Fail after fail, then suddenly: sunshine! I managed to hit it 2 or 3 times in a row, which gave me my 14k score. If I could have done this later, after being more practiced, I would have gotten a gold medal with around 16k.
