It happened. I found a loose Stadium Event in a $100 lot I bought from some random family. I won't lie: I shed a tear in my car after I picked it up. This was yesterday August 25th which happens to by my birthday. Turned 38.

I got it clean and functional, strangely it doesn't smell like smoke at all (the guy was smoking in his appartment when I picked it up). I wanted to share with Nintendo Age since this is pretty big. Also I consider this the last authenticity checkpoint in a way, please tell me I'm not dreaming. (excuse my f*cked up face, I'm not good with emotional reactions...felt like I was more burnt out by the excitement)

We were having a bbq in the backyard and I just happened to zone out and check the classified on my phone between a hot-dog bite and a gulp of beer. I saw a NES lot for $100 and I normally don't care for those but there were a lot of games there and I had spotted Contra and Battletoads so I wrote the seller to work it out, plus they were like 10 streets away from me.

By the time they replied I realized there was an SE and I was already in my car driving to an atm. When I got there the lady told me her bf was trying to plug the shit in to test it out for me and that she was being flooded with messages. So I made quick small talk about how these things don't break and testing isn't required, that they are quite popular, etc. I threw the cash at them and ran off with the loot as fast as I could.
