I am downloading another rom revision to put on my everdrive to see if a similar time yields 1120 points.
If it does, I will redo my score as this rom I am using could also be providing different score calculations for timed events like the overboard.

Got it down to the same time. Different scores.
This makes my current score invalid. I will post a new score using this rom tonight or tomorrow.

It seems no matter whether I hold my score back or go at it head on, I end up in 7th or 8th place most times. I should just post my score when I get it and move on  

I am so fucking sick of side quests in BOTW! I'm just gonna hammer out the rest of the main story line and call it done!

What about your Snoopy score? I've neglected BOTW so much that I would say at this point I never really got started!

This game is frustrating. If I could be more consistent with a few of the events, I could get a much better score. This is what I've got for now. I got this score on Wednesday, so I expcted to have topped it by now. Damn you river jump and pogo!



 

Yeah, it is.
I switched to the rom from the goodnes set on the everdrive and I got the same results you did on the sack race.
And I couldn't get perfect scores on overboard by dropping the other player in under 2 seconds.
The previous rom might have been ripped from a chinese bootleg. They like to change stuff like this.

As for the boot, it is down to timing and not swinging more than 4 times. If you do, you need to stop completely and start swinging again after a second, or you will lose power and speed before throwing the boot.

Interesting stuff about the ROM revisions. I was wondering how Bea got scores ending in 5.  

I am guessing the Red is gonna drop a big score before the day is over.

Congrats on the high scores everyone. I feel that playing on emulator instead of real hardware hurt me this week. Although Jimbo somehow got a high score with an emulator.

I am waiting eagerly for him to do it.
It would be epic if he comes and drops a 18,300 score.  

 

Don't count on it.  I haven't had as much free time as I was expecting to have this weekend, so I've only been able to try a couple times so far.  I'll see if I can put up a decent score this evening.

What are the hashes for the two ROMs you've been using?

 

The Goodnes one (Snoopy's Silly Sports Spectacular (U) [!].nes) has a CRC32 of C5211378.
The other one, that I got from a torrent file years ago has a CRC32 of B4479532. It doesn't match the CRC of any other rom dumps on the Goodnes set.
