Well, NGD's list has it at 250 bucks or more. So I'd go by that, 250-300 maybe?

The price is actually down on Caltron and on Cheetahman right now. So if you want one, now is the time to get one IMO.

wrldstrman: maybe it was yours I just bought like a week ago with a BIN of $200? I figured I may as well nab it, I wasn't even looking for it, a friend pointed it out to me.

I'd say loose (right now, anyway), it's worth between $180 and $220, complete around $300-350.

What about the Brazilian Caltron? I made a deal for an excellent condition Multi-Acao 6-in-1 CIB, and want to see if I got a good deal...

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

ahh Cheetahmen II. What's that going to put me out, and a better question is, who has one stowed away for me. That's the last "affordable" high-end cart I need before I start getting into the $500+ territory. And more importantly, anyone have it for sale

LOL, the last one on eBay as you probably noticed was at $500 1st bid. No one bid though. I emailed the guy 2 times offering him $350 for it but he never even responded to me.

Anyone on here want to sell one, same offer applies CIB or Sealed, although I know almost all are sealed.

RE: braveheart

are you speaking of the sealed cheetahmen II that just ended recently from the guy who also had the new atari video life? his starting bid was $500 and it did recieve one bid and ended at $500.

i agree with the prices above. a caltron cart is pretty low right now. going price seems to be a bit over $200. maybe $220 on a good day. complete copies in good shape pull about $400 though. the manual and sleeve are kind of a pain to get. finally managed to get a manual for mine for $50 off ebay not too long ago.

also, the one I just sold for $205 was NOT my only copy. I also have a complete copy.

I think the big deal with the rare carts recently is there has been a bunch of new collectors grabbing up stuff and not staying interested long. So the carts are getting passed back and forth. I think once a good core of hardcore collectors grab up the rarites the games will become less plentiful.
Like I ve said before I think the hardest core nes collectors are members here and thats not many. Plus a few of the guys with nice collections like qixmaster have let their collections go lately. When a few more hardcores jump on board the rares will be hard to find again
