4/30/17 scoop... lot was SUPER dirty, but I cleaned it up fairly well.

Finds from the past week. I just combined both Wii U lots together. I paid $375 for one, and $320 for the other, so $695 total. $60 for the GB lot.

Finds from the past two days:
5/9/17 small N64 lot for $30
5/10/17 3DS XL lot... all for $165

I went to the East coast for the weekend, and while over in MA I found this nice 3DS XL lot. Guy had two kids and I guess was selling off all their stuff, so boom... 2 systems and lots of games. $165 total

Nice stuff, always good hauls.

5/15/17 paid $280 for everything... games were almost perfect when I got them; I hardly had to clean anything. What you see is basically how it looked when I picked it up, which always excites me. I ended up needing 2 of the commons (and since these carts are at my standards for condition), so now I'm up to 237 carts. Also, it was very random to see the PAL Doom in there.

5/17/17 buy for $60

Some finds from this past Saturday from garage sale-ing. Everything cost around $50 total. N64 games are basically mint and were $2 a piece (got three I needed for my set), and the LCT is sealed (not like it's that special of a find, but still).

5/24/17 finally got myself a Switch. I knew if I kept hounding CL I would eventually find one at a reasonable price, and I did last night. Ended up paying $225 for the bundle. I'm going to hold off on playing it until I get a screen protector and my Pro controller in the mail.

Here are two lots from the past week.
The first two photos are of a NES lot that I had to drive about an hour (each way) to obtain, but all for $120 was well-worth it. Metroid still had most of the cellophane on it, as did a few of the other games. All boxed games are complete (except for G&G missing it's foam stopper).
Next two photos (consoles/accessories and games) are of a lot I picked up today (5/31/17) for $220. It's strange, I've been getting crazy clean N64 stuff from CL/the wild lately as this lot is no exception. I was excited to find another n64 game storage drawer in nice shape... I will defiantly be keeping that.

first one is all the N64 and PS1 stuff. I don't like disc-only stuff, but I can't complain as the lot was only $30; I paid a bit more for them to hold it for me as I knew it would be gone by the time I made the hour drive... Team Buddies is the highlight
second one was the Gamecube stuff... all for $80.

Little story behind this zapper find. My dad picked this up for me over the weekend at an estate sale. He called me the first day of the sale saying they had a NES system for $70, Zelda (gold) for $20, and the zapper for $25. I told him they were all priced too high, and not to bother. He said he had to go back the next day to see if they don't sell and mark down a beer sign he wanted, so he told me he would keep his eyes peeled for a price drop on the items. When two days passed, my dad returned on the final day of the sale to see all three Nintendo items still there (no doubt because of the prices). He ended up getting it all for $50. When he got home and showed them to me, I was impressed with the condition of Zelda and the system, yet not with the Zapper box. I figured the contents would mirror the outside. I look inside and was very surprised to see a pristine, seemingly unused and untouched specimen. Even has the COA!

First photo is finds from two garage sales yesterday (6/9/17). All the GC stuff came from one house; games listed for $1 a piece, controllers were $2. I was very pleased to find Billy Hatcher as I still needed it for my collection.  Also upgraded the condition on my Harvest Moon!  Pokemon sticker books were .50 for all 3, then got some CDs for $1 a piece.
Second photo is a preview from a n64 lot I picked up today (126 carts). Once I get them all cleaned and looking nice, I'll report back.

lots of luck from the past several days:

First is the Gameboy and PS1 lot. I found the GB lot for sale over Craigslist, and by the time it was all said and done the seller also had a bunch of PS1 games. Most of the games were commons, but the ones I bought are all ones I needed (or upgrades to my condition). All of the GB games are dead mint. All had the hard plastic cases, as well as most of the manuals. Everything cost me $135 (plus probably $15-20 in gas as I had to drive a while to meet the seller).
Second is a massive n64 cart lot. The seller said he was going for a full set yet never got around to completing it. Lots of common stuff, yet some nicer titles. I ended up needing 8 titles for my own set. Most of the set was in nice shape (especially once I cleaned it all) which is why 8 went into my collection. All 126 carts cost me $450. It ends up being right around $3.50/cart, which is fine by me.
Third is a Gamecube/N64 lot. The n64 is in great shape as are the controllers. Gamecube is in nice shape as well. Cost me $225 for everything.
Lastly is the NES lot. I had to drive about an hour each way, but for $60 it was well-worth it. I enjoy buying from people that have all the NPs/hint/cheat books to match what games they are selling.

6/17/17... big day! Got a SNES countertop kiosk. The owner customized a Redbull fridge (took out the coolant, added some lights, a SNES decal, and a power strip to control all the kiosk power) for a stand. The kiosk is in very nice shape. It's not the original monitor (even though it has the original SNES sticker) but everything else is present (and stock). I never thought I would own one of these, but for the price I could not decline. I also got some Sega CD stuff (and a nice, crisp (possibly new) dogbone controller).

God damn you find a lot of stuff, dude.

I'm jealous, man. You're constantly pulling down great stuff. What's your secret?

Contantly hounding Craigslist... literally, I probably check my usual searches every hour.  It comes in waves.. I'll go without anything for a week or two, but then (like this week) I'll find something almost every day. 



 

6/19/17 pick. A local collector was liquidating his stash. I got to the CL post 45 minutes in, and there was an original Mega Man listed for $25, Chrono Trigger for $50, Final Fantasy III for $25, and Secret of Mana for $20 yet they were already spoken for. Seller said only those 4 were claimed, which is strange because he was these games for some great prices. Kind of bummed I missed out on the main 4, but I'm okay with this lot for $125. All of it will be available in my sale thread.

3ds lot from the other day... $80 for everything.
