This thread reminds me of exactly how the Cargo Cults started over in some of the islands of the Pacific Ocean. They're anxiously awaiting sometimes for years for new ships to appear with more Cargo, much the way some of us here are waiting for the return of the now almost diefied "Joel".

i kind of liked it when it was just me and joel... then i picked up rob as a follower, aaron shortly behind, now everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. frankly, this bed is getting a little crowded! haha. note that we are almost at 100 posts in a welcome thread!!! this is awesome!

we will get there in no time! the OMG thread was too much to swallow at the time. it was a huge deluge of posts in a matter of days. impossible to sit there and read them all. this thread is a nice smooth, slow thread. it will stand the test of time. once we hit that magical number and break the record, the prodigal son will return to us to grant us everlasting life! joel, we all anxiously await that glorious day!

i had my 1000th post 18 days ago.... 480 posts in 18 days = 26.6667 posts a day = i really should be working more!!! (that is another great feature about this thread... you can go back and calculate how long it took you to reach the next milestone and how many posts a day you have averaged over that timeframe)!

im bored every single day. i cant stand my job anymore. i dont really do anything either. i get my work done, but because i work with a moron, it gives me no motivation, so i sit here all day on NA posting away! once i get off this client and go to my next, i wont have as much time, but for now, i dont really care! i am slowly but surely getting my stuff done. whatever!!! at this rate, i will be passing you in thread posts by the end of the night!

i post the even numbers here... 1000, 1500, 2000, etc! joel deserves nice looking numbers. 1501 isnt as nice looking as 1500! (next person to post in this thread pushes it to triple digit posts! OMG, here we come!!!
