Updated my score with my final attempt. 290,400 ending on 4-1. I got tired of the point racking and figured this score would give me a decent chance of moving on in tier 3.

I'd say progression would've been a more fun way to run this particular game. I had less time in general to play games this week than last, but even when I had a chance to play, I usually had to push myself to do it because I knew I'd have to rack points.

The only thing I ever really had a problem with (besides getting hit into a conveniently placed pit) was the boss on Stage 2. I couldn't get a pattern down to beat him in a short amount of time.

Updated my score.I had to overcome much adversity to get the score I did. I just hope it's enough...

Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

That's been my guess since the beginning of the week and for those who didn't catch my reference, here's the match I was talking about:

No kidding man the Ultimate Warrior was just as relevant in this thread as the game!

It doesn't look too good for me since I'm in 4th already, so it might be on you to bring the title home!

As much as it hurts me to have to admit this, earlier in the week, the final boss was the better man, but you had to be there to appreciate it. It was amazing. It was incredible. He was catlike, he was agile, he was nimble. He had a catch as catch can style, that even yours truly quite honestly, couldn't figure out. I mean his prowess was in so many ways, so many levels, superior to mine that I simply could not compete and when it was over, even I found myself falling victim, like so many before me, to its vicious attacks until I was soundly defeated.

I am officially bowing out. I haven't had much time to play this week, and next week will most likely be worse. I do have a score that would get me into the final week (1.9 mil), but I think it would be fair to drop out now to give someone else a chance at the prizes.

A big thank you to Kevin for putting this on, and everyone else who gave one hell of a good competition! Good luck guys!

Well I'm out if guillavoie and gutsman beat my score, but at least I cut a pretty good promo if I don't make it to the next round!

I spent a lot of time with this game this week. I think I spent too much time worrying about strategy instead of the score, though. When I did my point racking run last night, I cut a good pace but made some stupid mistakes (like not leaving enough time to finish off Ashtar) and it cost me. I kept playing after this point and rolled the score around the beginning of 7-2 but it took me 5 lives. Hopefully this score is good enough to make it into the next round!

Well, i'm out.  I was shooting for something over 300k and while I did surpass my posted score I never came close to it.  Now with Nates score, id have to break 426k to be in the top 3 (so far) and that sure as hell isn't happening.

Nice scores and Gook Luck everybody.
