Would anyone be interested in a gaming decathalon. 10 random games involved in the decathalon that i will pick. Each week a new game would be listed and you have the week to post a score. If you don't have the game you have a week to get it and get a score. Picture required to show score and everything would be based on honesty that people aren't cheating. If there is enough interest in this I would run it. Just checking how many people would be interested in this.

What's the prize?  I may be interested.  Not interested in fame though, just prizes.

would be cool maybe do a entry fee and winner can win the money, or i can use the entry fee to buy something nes or who if anyone has any other ideas like NGD post them here. Plus if you want to do this post in this topic and if i see that the interest is here i'll start it up soon. Let me know if you think like a $3 entry fee is a good idea too.

I don't know about the winner being the featured member in the eZine, but I'll definitely do some sort of feature on it.

I'm down, an incentive to hunt down specific games. Just announce the next weeks game a week in advance

I say we do a trial run for one week and see how people like it, than we can talk entry fees.

I think 10 weeks is almost to long. I think 3-5 might be better. People have a short attention span and probably wouldn't keep up for 10 straight weeks. I know this was tried once before and only lasted like 2 weeks. Having a prize/entry fee might help though.

I'd like to do this as well, but this time perhaps games that are actually playable. The last one we had, one of the games was DK Jr. Math, which wasn't a lot of fun to get started!

I'd like to do it for fun, but I don't really want to pay an entry fee...

Hm...we'll call it the NintendoAge 1st Semi-Annual Pentathlon or something to that effect .

I think we should be in decent standing for a site-wide event, barring that any of the games are pains in the butt to find (I *still* don't have a DK Jr. Math, even loose!). Also, regarding Power Pad/FFF Pad games...some of us (like myself) don't exactly have the room to spread out such a pad...

I'd love to do this. Just let me know when it's going down. 5 weeks, 10 weeks, whatever, though I do agree most would not be able to keep it up for more than a few weeks.

Well I guess based on polling I will start one up it will probably be like 5 weeks so 5 games. I'd do like a $2 entry fee so its not breaking the bank because you could probably find $2 in loose change in a day if you really wanted too. Look around next week sometime for a post in here that says NA Decathalon - 5. I guess I'll do a week to pay entry fee and post the first game that will be played.

Go ahead and start picking out the games so we can make sure we're set, for at least the first two. It takes more than a week to acquire a game sometimes.

I didn't know we could say bad things about black box games

If that is the case, I have a few bad things to say about 10 Yard Fight
