He's going to get absolutely BLOWN out of the water in the upcoming TUF. Roy Nelson is going to put a fat man beat down on Kimbo's ass. That's assuming someone doesn't beat him to the punch.

There's way too much talent on this upcoming season for Kimbo to do any real damage.

I'm pretty sure Kimbo's all hype. They'll give him the easiest matchup to get him in the door, then pair him up for the last possible first-round match to stretch out his airtime. And that's when he'll wash out.

They don't have to fight to get on the show this time around (from what I understand).  I do agree that he'll be the last possible first round fight though.  The UFC would be crazy to do it any other way.  I just can't wait to see him and Wes Simms exchange words in the house.  This is going to rule.

Wes Simms is a pretty terrible fighter IMO, id say him and Kimbo are pretty close, and it might make a good fight. Though Simms has been training longer, and on the ground it might be over fast.

But damn I forgot about Big Country, he will be tearing some ass up.

Oh, don't get me wrong, Wes Simms absoultely sucks. That wont stop me from cheering him on the entire season (or at least until his fight lol). There's something about that maniac I just love. I actually met him at UFC 45. I will post pics later today. I'm about 6 feet tall, and he TOWERS over me.

I havent heard the rumors. Last I heard about Fedor, was that M1 and UFC might engage in talks again, but M1 wont budge unless UFC will do a co sponsored event like Affliction did with them. And UFC will refuse to share the spotlight. So he would probly end up back in Japan fighting for Dream.

It sounds like Fedor's management is completely unwilling to do a deal without the UFC co-promoting with M-1. I seriously think that unless Fedor changes management, the UFC thing is never going to happen.

Fedor's press conference today was a complete joke. Hopefully the UFC conference this weekend is a little more informative.

Anyone catch that CNBC special? Just saw the last 10 minutes of it when I came home from work. Ultimate Fighting Fist Full of Dollars. Was wondering if it was any good?

Dana is doing a presser right now and announced some solid things already:

- Vitor Belfort is back and is going to fight Rich Franklin at 205 lbs, most likely at UFC 103.
- Tito is officially back. Since having so much time off, he may face Mark Coleman as his first opponent.
- Dana tried everything he could to get Fedor, but would not budge on the co-promotion. He still seems confident that Fedor's people will agree at some point.
- Dan Henderson is officially next in line for a title shot.
- UFC signed a 3 year contract with ESPN UK, all free events starting with UFC 101.

I'll keep you guys posted, but that is most of it so far. It just started at 2 pm EST, so there should be plenty more to announce!!!

HA! I had just typed all this up and hit reply, only to find that you'd already posted, it. Quicker on the draw than I.

It seems like all the announcements are finished. All of the twitter updates are just random quotes now.

I was using this feed: http://twitter.com/mmanation...

Sucks on the Fedor deal, but no way would the UFC benefit from a co-promotion deal with M-1. If it comes down to straight money, M-1 isn't looking out for Fedor, it's looking out for M-1...

I thought this was pretty cool and the mmanation feed didn't cover it:

"Belfort, Daley, Rothwell, Gromley, Lauzon, Olivera, Javi Vasquez, Mark Hominick, and LC Davis are under Zuffa contract"

Most of those guys had been rumored or announced over the last few days, but it's still cool to see the laundry list.

Did they officially sign Daley?!?!

I know he was weighing his options a few days ago, it'd be nice to see another killer striker in the UFC stable.

Looks like Arlovski and Sylvia are going to have to look for a home elsewhere, Dana doesn't want them. I was a Tim fan for a long time (I know, he sucks, he's boring, blah blah) and Arlovski has just had the shittiest luck lately. I'd love to see them bounce back in Japan or like a Strike Force event.

I read the other day that Daley had signed, then that he was "entertaining offers", so I figured the deal had fallen through. Looks like it got done.

"White: the deal that White said "would change the UFC forever" is "very close" to happening and NOT the Tito Ortiz deal. "

Whats this?

ESPN or HBO in the US?

"White: nobody wants to see Mayweather vs. Marquez. Fans want to see Mayweather vs. Pacquiao."

Damn straight

Well hopefully Strikeforce is able to pick up Fedor as I would love to see him match up with Brett Rogers

I think what Tito said about there being no one for him to fight in Strikeforce rings true for Fedor as well.

I'd enjoy watching him fight Brett Rogers, Fabricio Verdum and Alistair Overeem, but I don't think any of them would pose a real challenge. In the end, you'd just have all the fanboys screaming that Fedor "ducked the best competition".
