I wanted to get a Super Famicom to Famicom adapter, and use it on my SNES, since I took the tabs off to play some Super Famicom games I've got. Would that adapter, which apparently is made by the same people who make the Retro Bit SNES adapter, work well with the FDS RAM cart? My Twin Famicom's power adapter is broken, and I'm looking for a cheaper way of playing FDS games, with all of the expanded sounds, than buying an actual Famicom system. The cheapest price I've seen, for a broken, yellow Famicom, was $70 U.S. plus shipping. The adapter, brand new in box, is the same price WITH shipping.
I've been wanting to take off those plastic tabs off my Super Nintentdo to play some SFC games. (Once I get a job and start collecting again)
Quick question: Does this cause any problems? - I've read it doesnt. (Correct me If I'm wrong)
If it's not a good idea would it be a better idea to buy an adapter? If so which adapter?
Thanks!
