Hi! I have come here to ask questions, so questions I will ask.

Who should I know of around here?
Where, other than the FAQ and Rules, should I look and read?
What should I do, other than talk?
Who is the mascot (that kid in the lower left)?
Are these questions to plentiful?
Is this question meta?

...I'll stop.

Welcome! Search the forums for the answers to any given question and if you don't find it, THEN post a new thread.
The FAQ and Rules are great guides. The sticky threads at the top of each forum are sticky for a reason. They often pertain to commonly asked questions and issues.
You should use NA to buy and sell at fair prices from collectors who know what things are worth. Learn about gaming from experts, eventually turn around and help a newbie! Browse our detailed checklists, learn about other cool sites and find the people who share your interests. quite frankly.. make some friends!
The mascot is appropriated from Solomans Key I believe.. He can be deactivated if you dont like him.

Welcome to NA! Lots of great, knowledgeable people here to get to know. Definitely read the rules. But other than that, just do whatever you want! It's a great place to learn about all things video games.

Like everyone else said, get to know everyone. Or at least the people who share your sense of style. Y'know, just like the real world.

If it's been years since you used a forum, like me, then read everything. I'm not so sure on their necrophile rules on threads in this forum though. I've seen things continued from several years ago without a brow being raised.

I uh... really not sure what else you should do besides talk. Read up on things, I suppose. Take a gander and window shop all the information you can. If you can transform your blood into a kinetic energy and fry people from a distance, that'd be swell. If you can't, don't sweat it. Just reading up on things and how the people are will serve you well here. Also, to save you the headache, don't try and start a conversation about what a collector is or the nuances of the term. That's a chip on everyone's shoulder here. Which you can see why after a bit of time here. So just talk. Explain all the shiney things you like.

No idea who the mascot is. I like him though.

Meta builds in Dark Souls suck the fuck out.

Continue.

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, WELCOME TO THE CLUB.

Currently playing through: Shining in the Darkness. Because some times you need to wander aimlessly in first person perspective through a maze with no distinctive marking and impress a king to go into another maze, to save his daughter. Plus I use any excuse to get more time with my Genesis now that I have HD Retrovision component cables for it.

Oh dear. I do enjoy drinks. Arguably because my body is mostly liquid and it helps sustain life; more so because I just enjoy little fruity drinks as a whole as well.
