OK - Thank you all for putting up with all of the confusion with the other auction.. I now think I have everything that should be acceptable to all.. I have added a couple of new items to the list that I just happened across today.. All bids from the prior auction are null and void except for grandfathered bids as explained in the 14th post in this thread.

NOTE: Rules changes in RED - last change 3/16/10 (shipping clarification)

BASICS:

#1 - All Games/Accessories will be available for bidding.

#2 - Bids will be added to the main list (in this post) as they are received.

#3 - Second Chance will be in effect.. If for some reason the high bidder does not complete payment, the item it MAY be offered to second place.

#4 - Bids must be placed in the forum. (No PM Bidding)

 Exceptions:

  - Grandfathered bids within 24hours - Currently invalid

#5 - The auction will end on March 16th 2010 at 11:00:00PM NA Time (8:00:00PM PST) - NA time stamps will be used for determining high bid.

#6 - Bids should not include shipping

#7 - Bids must be made in in $1.00 increments - It just makes things easier...

#8 - By bidding you are entering into a legal contract to purchase the item as stated in the updated Auction FAQ

#9 - PayPal Payment preferred for auction payment. (via personal even more preferred)

#10 - Shipping - via Priority Mail - (other options available USPS - FedEx) costs below are guaranteed on the Flat Rates for the ""US and CANADA ONLY"" and include packing materials and Delivery Confirmation (for the US):

 - Small Flat Rate Box - 1 Game - $6.00 ($12.00 for CANADA) - Minimal protection on spines (up against outer packaging)

 - Medium Flat Rate Box - 1 to 10 Games - $15.00 ($30.00 for CANADA) - 4/5 games MAX if you want a lot of protection

 - Other Priority options (w/ 1-10 games) are based on weight and location of delivery but would be between these amounts as depending upon the padding amount requested as if the costs hit a medium flat rate cost w/packaging. It might as well be sent flat.

 - More than 10 games (I haven't checked on shipping) not sure if anyone is going to need that but we will figure it out if it does occur.

 - INTERNATIONAL shipping will be determined on a Case by Case basis as it can vary incredibly.

Items marked with an (*) have high minimums because, well, these are the ones that I didn't know if I wanted to keep. If you are willing to pay the minimum (or more) than it will be yours. I had a lot of suggestions about just re-buying the cart only later but I am a stickler for original boxes on the stuff I own.. so it is sort of, I keep it or it needs to fetch what I feel I want for it. I know they probably are not worth what I am setting as the minimum (especially Duck Hunt) but hey you can't blame me, maybe someone wants the box more than me.

As for my user rating here, it is (0), some other site referrals are:

eBay - brionsohn (165) 100%

bricklink.com - bsohn (296) 100%

NOW FOR THE GAMES:

Since there are a lot of Games. Pictures and information about the games are on my Website so that it doesn't take up a TON of space on here. The new things are not currently pictured. The glasses are scratch free and well the others are brand new, perfect.

There are 7 pages total and all photos have a large version for inspection. I may have time to get other photos and will try to do so if needed. Please ask for these early in this auction only (via PM) because I may not have time to do so before the end of the auction otherwise.

I think that about covers everything. If there are any questions about anything please feel free to ask. if for some reason I get your high bit wrong please PM me to let me know.

Also if an item does not sell I will entertain PM offers for that item including the ones that I think I might wish to keep. Anything with this will happen after the auction is completed.

You may also request a minimum initial bid change via PM if you are willing to place a bid at that change and I agree to it.

Thank you for all of your help and suggestions. I was trying to figure out the way that I could be most fair about this to all NA members as these are some pretty nice games.

Happy Bidding

Going to be honest here... These prices look like Buy-It-Nows from eBay. They're a little too rich for my blood as a STARTING bid. Your stuff is in really great shape though and I do really want to get Metroid, so I'll see how this pans out before I place my first bid! Good luck on this!

I'll use my 'made a good thread, crap on another" free card and ask: do these prices come with a free scrotal polishing as well? Because that's the only thing that can explain them.

If you PM me, I will tell you to go away, especially if you're trying to mooch my games.

This sort of why I did the other auction listing as I did.. (I really don't know what to start things at) so at the bottom of the post I put a note... I will negotiate on the minimum bid if someone is willing to bid that amount.. just PM me.. with what you would like that opening to be.  I will either accept it and add you as the bidder or reject it and leave things alone.. Of course this only works for the first bidder. As after that it is an auction.

Everyone (OK not everyone, but it was enough to cause a lock and a FAQ change) complained about the last one not being specific enough so I make it more specific.. and well this.. I'm not taking this personally (but you know, there is no need to be crude). I am just trying to be fair here and give everyone that might want these Very Very good pieces in their library a chance at them.. Straight sales or BIN do not give that option it is first come first serve.

Actually quite a few of these (6 to be exact) had been bid up to the minimums listed already when the other auction was closed. 6 others were within $5.00 of these minimums, and 5 others were within 50%. I had to remove those bids as this is a new auction. I actually didn't check this when I set the minimums.. For anyone with a bid that was within $5.00 of what the minimum is now I will automatically reset the minimum to your last bid on the old site if I receive a PM stating that you want that done.

I still may adjust some of the minimums as we go without PM's but I don't know as of yet.

Brion, your auction is fine just the way it is. People have the choice to bid or not. Don't take crap from anyone, especially someone who blogs about taking a crap, daily If you don't know what I'm referring to, see here:

PM'd about 1942 opening bid, if you accept it just add it up, and if not, good luck

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

Well, I originally offered $100 for this pair of Rad Racer 3D glasses when he first mentioned them in Collectors Corner, and that offer still stands. If someone wants to go in with me for a $50 copy of Rad Racer, let me know.

Just to let everyone know. I have PM'd the people who in the last auction were within $5.00 or around the minimum bid and am giving them re-instatement priority of their bids for the 24 Hours. Meaning they can list at what their last bid was and get priority over someone with the SAME bid amount. I am mentioning this NOW as there are no current conflicts either the latest bid is higher that the prior auction bit or a new bid has not been placed on that title. This is only an issue for matching bids.. if you bid more than the last bid on the old auction you are the high bidder, if you bid less well then you may get out bid with the reinstatement.. I think this is only fair to those who came prior.

This currently affects 6 titles many of which were at or slightly below the minimums.

Thank you
Brion Sohn

Not to thread-jack, but am I missing something on the RR glasses? Is there some distinguishing mark to know they are "legit" and just not a random insert? I'm pretty sure I got a CIB w/ glasses laying around that I definitely need to sell if it is worth these prices.

It's the Yellow ones that are worth a pretty penny. The regular black ones are worth zilch.

The Yellow 3D Glasses were a mail -in promotion through Nintendo Power Magazine. They are fully molded Ski Style glassies with quite dark Red and Blue Lenses. They are not a boxed sort of item.. I will get a picture of them up today in the description pages with the RadRacer information.. they are extremely different than the standard CIB versions.
