how does everyone got their systems hooked up?...i got my current generation stuff in the living room.... Now that I got a gameroom to hook all the old stuff up in trying to figure out the safest way to wire them up...the genesis 32x Sega cd combo takes up a damn surge protector by itself....so far I got everything wired thru 3 fourway selector boxes...still working on the power...my setup is a 27in tubetv with every Sega system from master system to Dreamcast on the left all the Nintendo systems up to gamecube on the right and a Xbox and ps2 under the tv....

How's everyone else's wired mess look setup?

Its a mess to have 20 systems hooked up to the same TV, but anything is possible. I have 4 surge strips/ups on my tv, but the key is I only have one powered on at a time, so you are not running power to everything all the time and risking power surges or equipment damage. A/V switches are another issue, but there are some nice larger switches out there like Pelican, etc that can accommodate many cables. If you plan on having the set up for any amount of time, it's worth the investment imo.

50" plasma with a System Selector Pro that has 7 systems hooked up to it right now with room for an 8th. NES, SNES, N64, Wii, PS2, XBox and the Blu-Ray player. I dont play enough Genesis or Saturn but can hook them up at any time when I feel the urge.

On a more serious note, I've played EarthBound today for so long, I feel all tense and mentally worn out.
Then you called your mother and felt better?

Well I have PS3 and Wii upstairs in the living room along with my MAME arcade in the bar room.

In my gaming basement I have my SNES, Genesis/SegaCd/32X and N64 on the left. One TV is the sharp NES-TV and on top of it is a small LCD that support retro. Underneath I have a VHS player, Xbox 360, PS2, and PC Engine Duo-R, everything is hooked up with 2 power adapters and a couple of A/V cable switchers.

Also to the right of the TVs is my Commodore 64 setup.

Maybe we should all post up pictures?
