I had to give these a shot...

TETRIS & DR. MARIO SCORE: 357,037

Tetris - 191,037

Updated my scores with a slightly better Tetris score. It's seems like I do my best with Tetris after I leave it for a couple days. Every time I've better'd my score it has been on my first attempts of the day

I understand. I got 197K (or something similar) in the NES contest last year right off the bat, and then couldn't improve upon that the rest of the week as I got more and more frustrated and fatigued. Ended up being my worst finish of the season.

You should watch competitions between the top players on Youtube. They can start at level 18 and get hundreds of thousands of points every game as if it's nothing. I'm amazed by great Tetris players.

Updated with a Tetris/Dr Mario score, need to work on my Dr Mario game. At least I got the best Tetris score so far

Does it have to be CIB? Loose carts are still relatively cheap.

Well I mean, I won't argue if you wanna send me a cart.  

Eventually I'd like it to be CiB, but if only for contest's sake, I'd really love to have a cart. I really love the game, so I wanna do it justice and get the whole shebang, but I guess no big rush eh?

I threw up a batman returns score. Beat-em ups are my least favorite genre of games so I don't know how much more I'll play then that.

I may play just to beat the fat ass at the end of stage two. He was making me really mad!

No idea if it works. I believe it's just a clone system, usually they have a hard time with flashcarts as far as I know. I don't have an SD2SNES to test unfortunately

Just curious, for Tetris why do we have to start at level 0? The score doesn't multiply any more after 9, unlike the NES one

I was thinking about buying one but would like to know if it works with the sd2snes anyways. If I buy one before I get an answer I'll let you know. I enjoy playing in the competitions but only being able to get in and 1-2 hours every two or three days isn't enough for that high of scores.

Especially Tetris. I suck at Tetris!

I put up another improved score of Dr.Mario. After level 15, if you don't get helpful pills at the very beginning you get handcuffed and need to pull off some super-human moves to break down the first few levels. I may not be able to get 100K in tetris but, with the right luck, I could get some high scores in Dr.Mario.

I find Dr Mario way harder than Tetris

I think I find Dr. Mario easier because with each pill I can locate the best place to put it and if I'm quick enough can work the puzzle out but with Tetris there is just too many damn choices. It boggles my mind how good high level Tetris players are. I watched some Tetris speedrun / competitions and was blown away

I just find with Dr Mario if you screw up, you're spending all this time trying to clean it up. With Tetris its not as bad

Updated my Batman score

Today I was finally able to beat the stage 2 boss. Saving the tube bombs is the way to go. I initially got a better score than the one I have posted but I forgot that there is no life 0 and messed up that round. Oh well
