Well, there was a Deadpool hack I started a few years ago but my limited knowledge of coding and time restricted me to do more, now days 4 awesome guys joined the party to make this a great Ninja Gaiden hack.

This is a gameplay by me, testing the game new features that you will see.

*-Select button can change weapons at any time, you just need to recollect energy to use them.
*-Deadpool now has a wall climbing ability that wasn't there before.
*-More cutscenes have been edited (the zoom face was a pain for everybody).
*-Lost of enemies have been edited, so you can see more variety of enemies on every stage, for example, different kind of bats, birds, etc (this wasn't made in the original game).
*-Changed the item holders.
*-Changed graphics and colors.
*-Added Deadpool Waepon X costume in some stages.
*-Music changed between stages.

What's left?
--Edit all stages to work properly with wall climbing.
--Add regeneration ability to Deadpool.
--Get some other music.
--Edit enemies that aren't edited yet.
--Text and cutscenes.

This looks awesome, Im very interested in playing this hack. Any chance characters from the Wolverine game will be hacked into it as enemies?

Not sure about the wolverine enemies, you should know we are not experts into the hacking scene, but we have managed to do all this with some help from other guys.

2 new members have joined the team, helping in stage editing deparment and coding.

A good new is: Deadpool now has a regenerating ability, that means he regain health when time goes by, but its slowly, so dont think this will make it easier, unless we can do it faster but making the enemies do more damage.

This is very exciting, keep it up. I just hope it isn't insanely difficult, then I wouldn't want to play it.

Well, you can see the gameplay, I think it's fair enough, Bosses in the other hand will be harder now, because Slas Attack is no longet effective as it was in the original game.

Stage 4 is in the works today and maybe even a fake label for the game (or maybe official one if we made a few repros out of it)

I feel like regenerating health could make the game too easy? When I play a Ninja Gaiden game, I want insanely difficult, ever since I beat the trilogy I've been craving more. I want a challenge to match the originals, that way you feel like the ultimate badass for clearing it. Maybe two difficulty version patches? One for casual gamers, one to match the Ninja Gaiden series legendary difficulty?

I get you, on our first demos we got the complaint that the game was too difficult, most of the people didn't beat the 1st stage.

This time we are aiming to make it more difficult than Ninja Gaiden but fair at the same time, Health recovery will be slow, of course you can wait in a safe spot and stay there a lot to get your health back, unless we add timer again.
Also, bosses now are a lot harder, we deactivated the Slash attack on bosses, and believe me, it really shows, and maybe you will be able to finish the stage easily if you are good, but the bosses will be a pain for sure,

Still working on it, trying to get a perfect balance between difficulty and replay value, I will love to see people playing this or even speed running the game, that's why we want it to be well done and fair but no easy.

I agree with this. So many hackers just seem to hack games to make them insanely difficult which I think is the wrong thing to do. You want to make a game enjoyable so that players will want to play again and again,not something that will utterly frustrate them and cause them to quit playing the game altogether.

DEADPOOL DEMO RELEASED

We will share our latest demo with you, so you can give us feedback, mostly in the gameplay deparment.
Keep in mind there is a ton of work to do, like cutscenes, text, and edit all remaning stages.

What will you find in this beta?

Stage 1, 2, 3 and 4 edited.
Sprite edits.
Added regeneration hability for Deadpool.
Changed enemy values.
Removed timer.
Wall climbing added like NG2-3.
Music randomly changed (we need help with the music department).
Sword slash attack doesn't affect bosses.
You can choose weapons with the Select button.

What can you expect later?
A new item to make the Sword Slash larger.

I am looking forward to the cut scenes! This sounds rad!

New tittle screen edited, more enemis and stage edits have been done.
If some of you know someone who can edit or do music, let us know, we are having troubles with that.

A new lifebar menu is being done, stage names will be displayed, also enemies will not respawn anymore, instead of that, you will kill them and they will be gone forever, so you can actually have a kill counter.
Added the Ninja Gaiden 3 Slash attack and new members are helping with the music

Currently we are planning on adding an all new Act 7 with two new stages that will feature these enemies.

This looks amazing so far. Not a fan of the health regen, to be honest. Ninja Gaiden was hard but fair, health regen cheapens it a bit too much.

Minor gripe though, you guys should get some carts made up.

If you put this on a cart, I want a copy!

Deathstroke AI improved.

A complete new level and enemies will be added, we are in the coding-spriting process.

Check out this preview battle against Deathstroke, I asure you, Health regeneration is not making this game easy!
