Level 5 is where the difficulty really spikes. Not only do you have to deal with multiple block changes that change or change back each time you step on them,but also everything else the game throws at you. This is where you see how annoying Sam and Slick can be.

Yeah but it sounds like you've had this game since you were a kid. The average competitor is going to have to work to get the level 3, where they'll be eaten alive

I doubt I get past 4
I did play the arcade and the crappy 2600 port a ton as a kid,but you'll do fine. Once you get to level 4 you really have to start thinking about how to compartmentalize the board in order to clear it as just casually hopping from block to block won't cut it.
Levels 5 through 9: One hop will change a cube to its intermediate color; a
second hop will change a cube to its target color. A third hop will change a
cube *back* to its original color.
Well that just sounds like a complete and utter nightmare
Thats probably it for me, the diagonal control scheme made it somewhat easier but i certainly DO NOT have a "Q*Bert Brain"

Well, it will take a bit to get used to how this game works, but I think I can put up a decent score in the end.

Level 3 is driving me crazy, as soon as you get most of the blocks turned there is always one on the other side to hit and you flip back the blocks on your way there or you start turning blocks back while dodging enemies. definitely a tough round
Oh man... I just realized the controller I've been using for awhile is one I got off craigslist from the trailer park... and I had never got around to cleaning it
