Yeah, I have the full valiant set of both SMB and Zelda, and I didn't even have to collect them - I bought them all when they came out in my childhood Very nice pick-up though

The ill-fated valiant. A 90's "comic bubble" upstart that sold out to VG maker Acclaim (the "masters of the game" lol) shortly after it blipped onto the radar. For a time its comics were getting stupid prices because of the hot spec market, issue's short releases and great storylines, until the bubble popped and the company went virtually tits-up. Most storylines ended and backissue values plummeted. Even without the corner damage (upper-left) this and most others really hold no value compared to a simple Zelda cart. I think #1 can bring in $20 but that's till less than a CIB.

yeah, now i'ma try to get all of em. i never realized the comics existed.
