I made a last minute attempt at a run, got to over 200k, and the game suddenly reset on me.

I only had one life left anyway and was being bombarded by enemy cars, but that still sucked.

Love the game. Hate the infuriating bits.

My 223k run ended because an enemy car hit me and I spun out off the screen and the game soft locked. I still had three cars left in reserve. That could have been a much better run.

And I haven't been able to get that high of a score again.

Alright, just shot a video too. Froze up at 164K (of course) but I think it gives you the gist of things

My mother-in-law also walks in at one point, so there is that

edit: oh, and the most comically awful play at the beginning

I have a few crappy quality cell phone videos of my game play that captures this game glitching. One is of my car spinning off the road (death spin), then bouncing off of a friendly car. I was able to continue driving and adjusting speed, but the car is spinning and making the inevitable death sound. I also captured video of a fully invisible car hitting puddles. Finally, I had the game fully reset during play. It seemed as though there were too many sprites on the screen. I'm playing on an AVS but I really think it's not just the system. I had an okay score all week of 67,800 but seeing where that would put me I choose to go for last. Great success!

Yeah I had the spinning thing happen too. Probably could of scored a million with that glitch since the cars stopped attacking

The glitching was strong with this game, yes.
At least Klax seems pretty solid so far.

And thanks for posting video, Brock.  
It is always nice to see them pop around the contest once in a blue moon.

The reset glitch happened to me as well, and the spinning car thing, and other glitches. This game is so broken.

Well done! While is didn't have any issues with glitches, I didn't have the patience to get a better score. I actually kind of like this game now too!

The only other time I've made the top 8 in an arcade game was 7th place for Pinball last year.

I worked much harder for my 9th place Marble Madness finish. Turns out that NA is full of world class Marble Madness players.
