If you did set a new record, anybody looking to sell theirs will probably be listing them on eBay for $3500 as soon as this auction is over.

 that could be true if someone was willing to part with theirs. I had no intentions of selling my collection but things happen sometimes. Another thing that played into my descion is my mother is getting older and cant take of her place to well and by moving  ill be within a few minutes of her place. so the next person may not sell for years. you just never know.  plus im sure this auction isnt getting the attention that it would of drawn on ebay. so outside of here probally not many people are going to know what it sold for.  plus there is not that many to begin with  lol

As far as I know, even the starting bid was a record...I believe my sale in June '10 was the highest publicly-known loose cart sale previously ($2202), albeit under several different circumstances. I'm interested to see where this goes...just for the sake of the popcorn and pop I've got here .

May as well close up this auction now since I'm tapping out here. Doug, I would like to congratulate you on some of the most awesome items there are in gaming. NWC Grey and SE in one week definitely beats my SE PAL, Little Samson and Bubble Bobble 2 in 1 night (gonna soon add Panic Restaurant and Bonk's Adventure as well later this week)
