Easy answer...... because then you are gifted a blank slate with time to place blocks snd get easy 12k tetrises right off the bat. I tried it out and got 30k easy right off the bat barely even eorking for it.

Batman Returns! Pretty typical place to end a run I think, for someone who's not played in years. Thanks Bert for the cart!

I was trying to represent considering my avatar lol.  I will have to play tetris when the kids go to bed tomorrow, I am okay at tetris.

lol, Can we have a rule that your score doesnt count if its your first time in the contest randomly and your avatar is the game we are playing?

another person randomly dominates a contest out of nowhere because they are pros at it

 

welp there goes my drive to want to get any better lol

Lol sorry - I am going to try again, I have beaten level 24 and 25 before on original nes. It's long to start from 0 though. I can try beating the combined scores just playing dr Mario if you want

I actually quite like this format of two games for a month. I can play a couple rounds when the opportunity arises. I'll probably be playing at least one of the games every month from now on

I'm a big fan of this format too. I really only get one week a month to participate so it's the only competition to try in. I'd like to be a part of the nes competitions but it just doesn't work for me

yeah there's so many times I've wanted to compete in the NES competitions and it's over by the time I get around to trying the game

If you're into shoot-em-ups, the leaderboard is timeless! Compete at your own pace, and play any shmups you like!

No one is hating on the format guys. I like the 2 games a month.


Im only poking fun at the people that like to join 1 competition. Beat everyone and you never see them again. Dont see the pleasure in that.... Atleast it sucks some fun out of it to me. I wish people would stay and play
