I will make one of those as well, but I might try and incorporate it into the 64Mbit board. Seems like a waste to have a board that is geared to only 1 game.

Not the ones that I've worked with. Besides, if you buy ones with the tabs like these ones they work perfectly: http://www.digikey.ca/product-det...

If people really wanted clips I could make a different revision to handle them. This just seemed like the most user-friendly option.

Yep, cart shell cases are already available on my site. They click together, so you don't need to have any fancy screw bits!
I only have them for SNES right now, but am hoping to have Genesis and NES ones available at some point.

Nicely done! So, because I've never made a repro from a new board, aside from the EPROM you program you'd also need to add the other chips, too, right?

Vary nice, I may buy some at someday... sadly most donors are less then the new boards, so it looks like most people will be using donors for now.

You can make your own game on it, playable on an actual console. These boards work with most homebrew or repro games...

If that's not what you meant, you'll have to be a bit more specific.

This is pretty awesome. I do look forward to the repropak replacement too btw lol.

Also, does anyone have a quick estimate of components cost?

Thanks!

Buying in parts of 10 I am spending about $26 per game, that is including $2 per EPROM and $5 per label.

About an extra dollar or 2 than using donors but no more desoldering, and soldering a dip chip is much easier than a tsop chip.
