Local CL deal. Pretty obvious that they don't know what they have. What is this thing worth? I have absolutely no space for it, so I can't even think about buying it. But if there's anyone nearby Thousand Oaks, it might be worth taking a look at for $100.

Outrunners is a fantastic game in it's own right. For that reason alone somebody should pick it up.

$100 is actually what I would say it's worth. Maybe even less.

It's a huge game and not working. In working condition it would probably sit for a while at $150-200.

Size matters with most arcade games.

"Video boards need to be replaced" means they don't know how to fix it. There could be any number of problems with it, from a dead monitor to a bad board.

Really? I didn't think there were any cabs out there for that cheap. I've always wanted one but I live with my girlfriend's parents and there's no room D:

Plenty of cabs out there if you are looking.

These won't necessarily be cheap, but with limited space you can find what they call a "cabaret" or mini in some cases.

I picked up an Asteroids for the cost of gas once.

It's just like collecting home consoles and games. There are plenty of deals out there, just be patient and quick on the draw.

Yeah, people don't have room for the big stuff. Plus, a lot of the big games were really expensive to play, meaning that a lot of people only played them for a round or two before moving onto another game. It's not like Street Fighter II where people played it for hours.

It's kinda like how stores won't buy people's old Rock Band/Guitar Hero drum kits because pretty soon the whole store would be drum kits with no room for anything else.
