Absolutely.
Which is why the safest way to go there is to use the body spin on the breakdancer, wait a tiny bit after you let him go and he fell and use it to finish him off.
He will be getting up and won't have the chance to go into his breakdance routine.
Then it is a matter to body fling the midget before the time runs out.

And now I am waiting for Red to drop that 100K score I won't be able to match because I have no idea how to deal with the breakdancers on stage 15.

Okay, I just watched your video and you made the stage 10 boss look easy! Next time I'll try what you did there.

Continuing to fight normal enemies while so low on time was a ballsy strat. You barely had enough time to beat the boss before your health bar ran out.

I had extra lives to spare and I needed the points, so I took the risk with the timer. Those cops have very high point yield at the end of the stage.
Also, I have no balls.

I wish I'd spent more time with this game before this week. Despite the silliness and humor, this is one of the tougher beat em ups we've played this year, mainly thanks to the breakdancers and that the game is so fucking long. It's on par with Bayou Billy. At least there's no driving.

The funny thing is that if the game didn't have those break dancers, it would be at least 50% easier.
But I have thoroughly enjoyed playing it so far. It is so silly and proved to be a pleasant surprise in the contest game list, at least for me.

Okay, I tried grabbing the breakdancer boss on stage 10 but instead I got hit with his rapid fire punches. What is the trick to this?

I use the manhole to measure my distance to him, move a bit left and right and jump up just as he is nearing it so he will start his rapid punches a few pixels shy of hitting me.
And that distance is enough to body spin him.

I watched the video again and I see what you're doing there with the manhole. I'll try this, thanks!

Without an exploit this fight is next to impossible. It's so aggravating reaching stage 10 with over 50k and then blowing it at the boss (as I did on my last run).

It is not easy to get it right every time, but with those stupid break dancers, it is always a matter of distance. With a reference point, you can jump just at the right distance to make them go on their punches without hitting you.
Then it is laying out the punishment.

The most fun stage is probably stage 6. You get the high kick and the piledriver, and the bosses are amusing (basketball player, tiger, motorcycle guy).

Okay, I got your trick to work once to beat the boss. But unfortunately after using a continue.

Is there a way to consistently arm spin the breakdancer for a lot of damage without being hit out of it by the midget's projectiles? I really wish you got a better grab move on this stage.

The only way is to get him to spawn earlier like I did, by going to the right most part of the stage.
You need to arm spin him for at least 2 damage in order for you to kill it off with the body fling.
And believe me, I too would love to have a better grab move on this stage.

It is the same with the double break dancer boss. You want to stay at the left most part of the screen so both spawn at the right side of the screen and you can just spam drop kick them to death.

Well I have what is currently a 2nd place score, so I think I'm done. Just no time on the weekends. I look forward to it becoming a 6th place score

Alas, time to break out the rum, have some wardrobe accidents and try to at least hit 99K on this game.
Don't think I will be able to, though. I think I peaked and I have no skill left to try to drawn from.

The row of green gun guys at the beginning of stage 13 is another one of the hardest parts of the game. Attack them and get hit by bullets that you can't duck. Try to jump over them and they kick you.

Spam gut knee like there is no tomorrow. It is okay if you lose 5, 7 points of energy there.
They net you 750 points per at the end of the stage, so if needed skip the rest of the enemies till the bosses. Killing them net more points than dealing with the rest of the normal enemies of the stage.
You will get a heart right before the stage boss.

I don't believe it, but it really happened. Near 104K score incoming. Reached the final level but did not beat it, even with continues. I did see the final boss (I think) on my very last life.

I fully expect Bea to not rest until she beats this score.

Also I'm gonna get my power glove set up and see what that's like sometime this week.

Gonna post this picture and then go to sleep!

Considering that you are going to beat me on DD&BT, that is a given.
Time to fire that thing up again and go do a 1CC run rather than a no death run to try to accumulate the points I need.

Burning lives doesn't seem to help much because the real points come from beating the stage. But it might give you just enough.
