Saw this on Twitter, read the article, and still didn't believe it. Googled Dell and Wii and found the preorder page. Don't know what to think.

A quick search of wii on the Dell site shows they also sell PS4, Xbox one, WiiU games and Roomba Vaccums too?

Are they going down the road of an e-commerce site now?

Sony stopped manufacturing PS2 after 13 years. Nintendo over here just trying to one-up them.

For $60 it's certainly tempting but wow... when I read this I first thought it was a severely outdated link or something or Dell never updated their page. Maybe they just had a ton of excess stock.

Anybody pre ordered this? Im thinking I might hold off.

If you lookup the manufacturer part number Dell has listed, it comes back as Dragon Quest Builders 2 Switch. Part Number 108300.

A brand new Switch game usually retails for $59.99. Also the release date for DQB2 is July 12, so kinda close to the July 18 date dell has.

Just pointing this out...

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.

I freely admit I will be super amused at the tales of woe when hundreds of people breathlessly order whatever the limit is for this , dreaming about all the money they're going to make flipping them on eBay...

Until the moment hundreds of these show up on eBay, a handful sell and the rest sit there forever.

I'm giggling inside uncontrollably because if this is some unearthed cache of old stock, this is absolutely how it will go. A lot of butthurt and broken dreams of quick money.

IDK... it would kind of be nice to have a pristine, brand new Wii for a collection...

I'm also leaning towards a mistake. However, for those of you saying it's PAL, it was mentioned in one of the Twitter feeds that when Dell was contacted, they said the picture was not representative of the item being sold. Therefore, it could be a white NTSC version assuming it's even an actual Wii in the first place.

There is margin for error on when systems were last available, Nintendo never announced discontinuing the Wii in North America.
But not this much.
