Roomer has it that there was only 2 article submissions. (one was mine )

I wonder if the mid month special edition is partly to blame.

This may bring out some submissions from previously unpublished members.

Stay tuned. For those who did submit, thank you from the bottom of my editorial heart. Your material will appear in e-print, no worries. For those who haven't, please hold on for more information about the e-Zine's future.

I'll be sure to write something for the next e-zene, can't let this happen again. I talked to Kevin about it, and I think I have a pretty good idea .

As I said, stay tuned and for those of you who have stated interest in helping the e-Zine, please don't generate any content without contacting me first.

Vote 1 eZine! This publication has been a great part of the site, and was always informative and humorous. I always look forward to the release on the 1st, and I'd love to see it continue. Perhaps a publication every 2 months would be a better turnaround time to allow for the shout out for content, as well as not needing the big amount of work and rushing by the assembly team at the end of the month.

DUDE! The ONE thing that I thought that would be ALWAYS on time with NA, was the e-zine :/ I feel bad now that I haven't submitted anything for it! We have NO ONE to blame but ourselves, asses! I will make sure to submit something in the next day or so... what it will be, I have NO idea, but I WILL submit something! Sorry, freaks!

Who cares if you're a horrible writer? That's why we have editors.

Yeah, I was halfway thinking of turning my column into some sort of "Top Finds Recap" sort of thing... I think I could do that...

Just hold on to your articles for now. When the time comes for us to do another eZine, we will make a post about it. Having articles ready to submit are definitely not a bad thing though.

I was thinking, but hoping not, that people would slowly run out of ideas for articles. Only two though? Jeez man, that sucks. I hope my comic gets to see the light of day, I spent hours on that beast.  Though an awesome article, probably would have been best to save the 'special' one and make it part of the month of May, that way this problem wouldn't have happened.

When jason released his mid-month issue, we had no way of knowing that we would receive so few articles at the last minute. We were coming off of a large and successful April zine. Attempts at enforcing more stringent submission deadlines have been unsuccessful, mostly because contributing is on a volunteer basis, and we can't afford to pay. Without that "it's my job" element, it seems there's little binding people to their columns. Although in the writers' defense, most have made it clear that they don't wish to be monthly columnists. It just so happened that most skipped this past month simultaneously. We do have a large pool of past contributors, so we didn't foresee this problem...but it seems the law of averages just broke down for the month of April.

And Jim, you read too far into Kevin's post. He means June.

YAY!

June is for lovers.....lovers of NA Ezine!

I've got 3 additional articles planned for future submission.

I'd be willing to be a monthly columist through the rest of 2008. Review based for the most part, but i've got a few other ideas up my sleeve.

I've started writing again...had I known, I might have made it a point to finish up a bit sooner. But this time I'm gonna go for quality, and so I can't promise to be a regular contributor. Admittedly my works have been sub-par, and it's mostly because they were written literally the night before the deadline. Sometimes I get spurts of ideas, so if that happens I'll be sure to write a few extras, and maybe submit them to Dan to be included anytime we run short on material, kinda like filler tracks on a CD One thing's for sure, we can't let this happen again!

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."
