Hello everyone and welcome to the latest installment of the Weekly Contests!  This week’s game is going to be an arcade classic, Donkey Kong Jr.  Here are the rules:
 
 

• Play on 1 Player, Game A
• Play until Game Over
• If you roll the score, make sure to take a picture before the roll and right after the roll.  Do this for each roll of the score. If you roll the score, you need to pause the game immediately after losing your last life and take your last picture then, so we can see which loop you are on.
• You may use the Donkey Kong Jr. or Donkey Kong Classics cart to play the game
• Highest score wins
• Participation: 20,000
• GENRE: Arcade

 
 
The contest ends Sunday, 3/13/16 at 11 PM NA time.  Your user name MUST be written or typed on a piece of paper and be in the picture for your score to be valid.  The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid.  No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted.  No screenshots by hitting "print screen" on a computer will be allowed.  You must take a picture of your computer monitor.  There may be instances where this will be acceptable, but it will be at the discretion of myself and the contest organizers.  Also, the use of turbo controllers is forbidden, as well as any cheat codes, Game Genies, slow motion functions, or save states if playing on an emulator.  Also, we will only be using NTSC systems for the contests.  The use of PAL systems will NOT be allowed.  Good luck everyone and have fun

I won it by placing 3rd in tier one of the 2015 summer tourney. 

its pretty cool to sa the least. It's an actual dk jr. board that plays and a personal message is programmed into the title screen.

In 2015 they were only available for tier one. They are really impressive but also pretty exspensive to make. Maybe with enough donations they will be available at the end of the year. 
 

Hmmm...my 2nd place cart is still in the plastic. I'm guessing it's Rush 'N Attack, and I don't really ever want to play that again...

i agree about rush n attack. After playing 1 life, low score, I don't know if I will ever need to play that again. 

You might have stinger. But I would think red would have gotten it with the score he posted while taking the tourney win.

On a personal side note - I'm going to be trying mighty hard just to score participation points.

Ah, but look again.  There is no try, only do!
 

My 2014 cart is still in the plastic too, but if the label design is the same, it will show which game you have on the end label. If they made the games in the same order (3rd place - first round game, 2nd place - second round game, 1st place - finals game), then yours should be Rush N Attack.
 

I think it may be Little Samson. Better unwrap them and find out!
 

I was going to use it during the Bimmy Double Dragon 2 challenge, but I didn't think of it until after I had already put up my 164,530 score.
