Guts, I had the same concerns.......I feel like who ever just plays the game more is going to get a better score as it increases the odds of the computer just having a pre-determined "bad" game.
I am personally going to play the shit out of it until I get a good score so it won't hurt me any, but hey I could be wrong about the whole thing to I am no doubting that one bit...I am sure someone will clear some stuff up.
I thought I had the pitching figured out in terms of what pitches to throw and when, but I guess not.
What I don't get is why are the base runners faster than the fielders and why does it seem that your infielders are usually not in position while theirs are?
I will have to check that when I get home but I did notice something was weird there with player placement between teams.
If I am able to figure out the batting I should be okay but man it is brutal at times.....I want to just hit it far left/right field pretty much parallel with the diamond lines since the outfielders are basically zombies out there.
Home runs will be another thing........
My posted game,I hit 3 home runs which accounted for my first 4 runs. It just seems like when the cpu wants a big inning, more often than not they are going to get it.
Been investigating whether the pitcher shaking off pitches has any meaning. I'm not sure.
If you hold down the D-pad in any direction, the pitcher will either shake his head, which then you push another direction,or gets ready to pitch.
I'm not sure if this has any meaning on the game but it does seem like more often than not when I pick a pitch he didn't shake off,it yields positive results.
