Here they are, the 10 Gold Campus Challenge carts.  I made these to match well with the gold NWC which is why I am keeping one!  The DIP switches are functional, label is same size as NWC, cutout is CNC milled so its nice and clean.

5 of these are available for auction.  Bidding starts @ $1.00 and any increment is acceptable. All bids must be placed in the thread and made public.  Bidding will end on Sunday March 8th at 10PM NA time.  All 5 are being sold here, so the top 5 bidders get one.  Yes you can try to get more than one!  The other 5 are being given away or used for contests and will not be auctioned anytime soon.

If a bid is received within the last 5 minutes, the auction will extend another 5 minutes. This will continue until there are no more bids within a 5 minute period of time, shown by posts.  Shipping included in the bid price.

Gold carts are in all very good shape, but if you win and have a minty mint one I can that instead.  If I am ever able to get ahold of the same DIP switches used in the NWC (I know the manufacturer and part number) then I will gladly take the carts back to be redone.

Are you auctioning all 5 in this thread right now, or just 1 in this thread right now? How will the other 4 be auctioned off?

Same question.  So...it is the top 5 bidders that will win one?

I think I'd be having a heart attack right about now if I still owned the real one.

Looks great and everything but man do you really need to make them that close? What is there to stop someone who owns a beat up grey from poping it in that gold case? Isn't there a grey out there without a label?

I may have misunderstood, but I think that he only made the Campus Challenge carts -- the NWC pictured above is a real one, right?

I think that no fake NWC shells were made, so no scamming can take place, unless somebody passes a campus challenge cart off as an NWC gold.

What's stopping someone from doing that before?  There are enough high res picts around to get the exact dimensions of the hole, and it could be made quickly with a drill press or dremel tool.  Picts or screenshots can be used to make the label.  The hardest part is the PCB and a gray cart owner will already have that.

The top 5 bids get a cart. You only have to outbid the lowest of the top 5 bidders to get a cart.
