Hy guys, i recently (a few weeks ago) bought my first PS ever. I knew about these big AAA games for the PS like the spiderman game or Red Dead2, the last of us, but i'd like to play with something less known, less "mainstream". I'd like to play games that type="text/css"> > https://fetlife.vip/..." target="_blank">https://fetlife.vip/...","FetLife")" data-sheets-userformat="{"2":284864,"9":1,"10":2,"14":[null,2,1136076],"15":"arial,sans,sans-serif","17":1,"21":1}" data-sheets-value="{"1":2,"2":"FetLife"}" style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; font-weight: bold; text-decoration-line: underline; text-decoration-skip-ink: none; color: rgb(17, 85, 204); text-align: center;">FetLifearen't these games i sae before getting the system. So far i've played and finished InFamous Second Son. This was the  type="text/css"> > https://vshare.onl/..." target="_blank">https://vshare.onl/...","vshare")" data-sheets-userformat="{"2":284864,"9":1,"10":2,"14":[null,2,1136076],"15":"arial,sans,sans-serif","17":1,"21":1}" data-sheets-value="{"1":2,"2":"vshare"}" style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; font-weight: bold; text-decoration-line: underline; text-decoration-skip-ink: none; color: rgb(17, 85, 204); text-align: center;">vsharegame that first of all got me into the PS world, i loved how interactive it was at times, for example the spray paint parts. I own Ratchet&Clank and Fallout4. What else could you guys recommend me? Im planning on getting Bloodborne, Until Dawn and maybe Resident Evil 7, but i don't know much about the hiding masterpieces that surely PS has. ClaDun Returns: This is Sengoku!
A fun dungeon crawling loot fest. That said it's VERY deep in it's mechanics, and can be quite confusing at first because of it. The story will take around 15 hours or so to complete, but much of that is spent grinding levels. That said, the FUN is actually in grinding levels and gear in the random dungeons (rangeons).

Gameplay:

Shadow of the Colossus & Ico Collection
Both are amazing games, though SotC comes out on top for me (and most people). Absolute must-play games if you've not played them before.

Gameplay (review for the collection):

Danganronpa Trilogy
A trio of visual novels (also a series of anime and manga), these are story-telling at the top. Murder mysteries similar to Ace Attorney.

Gameplay (trailer for the first game):

Bloodborne
If you liked Dark Souls you'll like this. Different setting, more action-packed fighting.

Gameplay:

Uncharted Collection & Uncharted 4
Among the best action series ever, takes cues from Tomb Raider and just bumps it up to 11. Absolutely start at the first game and play all 4.

Gameplay:

Furi
Melds beat em up and shoot em up in a nice tight package. Gorgeous visuals, nothing but bosses, and just tight tight tight.

Gameplay:

Jamestown+
One of if not my absolute favorite shoot em up game, and I play a LOT of shoot em up games.

Gameplay:

If you need more lemme know.

I assume that this thread is about PS4 games?
I haven't played that many PS4 games, but one game that I definitely want to point out is Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. It is an excellent HD remake of Odin Sphere on the PS2. However, they have not just updated the graphics, but also modified the battle system and introduced a lot of new mechanics, like special attacks, a skill tree and many QoL improvements. You can even play the unaltered original version fo the game, but I would recommend to try the remake since it is just so much better.
As for the gameplay, it is a 2D Action RPG/Brawler wherein you play one of several heroes and fight your way through hordes of enemies. You can gain sort of experience to upgrade your character, find money and other loot that can be used for healing or buff items. In the course of the story you play 6 different characters, iirc, and everyone plays a bit differently, so that it doesn't get borign after a while.
Another standout feature of this game is the utterly incredible 2D pixel art.

As for the story this game is heavily inspired by old Germanic/Norse mythology and follows the individual stories of six separate characters, whose stories intertwine in interesting ways. You have to play through all of them to really get what is happening and to have a chance of achieving one of the many endings of the game. And while it may take a bit fo time for the story to unfold, it gets incredibly intense later on. This is a game that should not be overlooked!

What better way to mock a spamming piece of human garbage than to actually talk about or at least list some lesser known solid releases.

I've bumped into a few, though maybe they might not all be lesser known depending who keeps up on things. Often I find not many are aware of Omega Boost as the team is just really known for Gran Turismo, but damn that is one fantastic well made space mecha combat flight/fighting game. Also you would think it may be a cash in, but weirdly enough Star Trek Invasion on the PS1 is really great too as it uses the little seen federation fighter type craft and gives you kind of a wing commander 3/4 type style game to play which is done well.
