January 16th: Went to a game store that I usually frequent. They had just got in a large haul of NES games and this one caught my eye. I've been looking for YEARS for this one in the wild. I asked the guy working to price it and it was $40. I had $16 of store credit built up so I used that and only paid $24. Not a terrific deal but great find at a decent price!





When I got home, a shirt that I found on ebay was waiting for me. I paid $13 shipped for it and it looks like it's never been worn/washed. No idea on value but a nice add to the collection!

January 22nd: stopped in a Value World an picked this up for $4.50. No idea what it's value. As far as I can tell it's complete minus internal packaging. It also works great! I played around with it a bit. If you have any info or are interested in trading for it send a PM!

February 3rd: Work was slow today so I swung by a pawn shop on lunch. Found this N64 console in rough shape. They wanted $25 for it but I talked my way down to $15 (it's filthy, missing the door, and the joystick is loose). This needs some TLC but I thought it was a good find thanks to the expansion pack. Too bad it's the clear purple controller instead of the matching clear gray one :-(

February 18th: More if a mail day arrival update. Received this in the mail during the week after it's release. Ordering it was a pain through Gamestop but at this point I'm just glad it came and it's in good shape!



March 2nd: Another mail day arrival update. Got this vinyl store display Zelda banner from an NA member and I couldn't be happier. I love the LttP art style and finding official Nintendo display items for that game can be daunting so I had to settle for a GBA ad. SNES game for size comparison. Can't wait to display this one!

3/19/15: Got out of work early and swung by a local game store. Found Contra Advance for $8 and some GBA SP headphones for $2. Not a huge deal but nice considering my inability to find anything as of late.

3/21/15: Went to a local game store under new ownership. Got the following for $54. Not a huge deal but marginally cheaper than ebay. I have been looking for a few of these for a long time and to get them and not get screwed on price is nice!

3/28/15: Went back to the local game store from the previous well and got this for $184! It is the smaller white model but is in fantastic shape with all packaging included. I was planning on buying an external hard drive regardless of which model I got so this was great! All I have for games are a handful of Wii games and Smash for Wii U. This is my first new home console since the PS2!

If anyone has a deal on some Wii Motion Plus controllers I may be interested!

3/29/15: Hit up a thrift store and got these for $0.95 each. Twisted Metal 2 was a letdown as someone stole the disc. The empty TM2 case is black label and was only $0.40. Not a great score but i will get some decent trade-in value for a local game store.

4/11/15: Swung by Value World again and found some more PS1(accidentally added ps2 games to pic) games all CIB for $0.95 each. Looked in the back of the store for the systems that would go with all of the games I'm finding lately. I found a boxed PS1for $25 but decided to pass on that. I looked around and found a silver gamecube controller in a pile of junk. I kept digging and eventually found a system, all the cords and two more controllers (sealed oneis a third party garbage controller). The only thing priced was the gamecube Itself at $9.99. I found a manager and said that nothing else was priced so she let me have it all for the price of the cube since it all went together! Both first party controllers work fine and have tight joysticks. Great haul! ... now if only I can find some gamecube games there too....

5/5/15: Had to go out-of-town for work. Went to a pawn shop and found this. Each game was $4 and the cords are for snes/64/gcn and were $1. Both SNES games are very minty and Gladius is complete. Not bad!

June 6th: Went garage saling with my fiance. Found a ton of great stuff but I'm only putting the gaming related items here. Got all of the Xbox 360 games for $20. Halo Reach and Gears of War are both unused download codes. Fable 3 is still sealed. All games are CIB. The Wii game was $1. Also, we bought s box full of Disney books for $2 total. Included were these wierd Pac Man books and a game genie book (I asked...no games or systems). The Pac Man books haven't been colored in and apparently they originally had vinyl records to play that read the story (not included with mine). Very cool and very cheap finds!

Nice! I've got one of those pac man books (the left one) and mine has the vinyl but I haven't had the chance to play it yet. I found it at the antique I worked at store while I was walking around checking stuff, one of the perks of the job I guess

6/15/15: I went to value world and found these for cheap. The genetic and first party PS2 controllers were $2 each. The Xbox 360 controller was $3. The last item is a Nyko battery charger & batteries for wireless Xbox 360 controllers. That was $3. Everything worked great when i tested it. Not a bad haul for so cheap.

6/26/15: Got these at a pawn shop for $4 each! All are in pretty good shape. Fantastic haul and my best NES score in a while. Wild Gunman had been surprisingly elusive in the wild and is a welcome addition to the collection!



6/26/15: Went to Value World and found this cool AV Selector for $3. The tabs are interchangeable and pretty cool!



6/19/15: Went to a local store that had a sale. Got this rare, sealed variant for $28. Nice!



6/8/15: Traded some N64 dupes locally (x2 Mario Kart 64, Mario 64, Pokemon Stadium, Harvest Moon 64, DK64) for some NES CIBs. All are CIB except Rockin Kats is missing the manual and poster. Not a bad trade!

7/9/15: Saw a garage sale advertising gaming items on local Facebook garage sale page. They posted pics with tons of goodies. Went on my lunch and was severely disappointed with prices. Everything was priced well over eBay ($55 for Contra loose, $150 for NES console with hookups, $65 for CIB SMB3, $45 for loose Kid Icarus, etc.). I was determined to get a deal so I asked how much controllers were. Each one below was $5 each! Not a home run but made it worth it. All the N64 controllers work well and have tight joysticks. The pink XBox 360 wireless controller was a good find... until I tested it. It won't connect with my 360. No idea how to fix it so I might need to sell that one for parts :-/

7/15/15: Went to a pawn shop and got both of these CIB fit $2 each. I'm stoked to finally play Contra 4!





7/18/15: Had a mandatory Saturday at work this morning. I swung by some garage sales in my way in and found these games. All were $1 each! Crash Bandicoot 2 includes the holographic insert. Great find.

7/18/15: Went to a pawn shop and got this for $70! No stylus included but the system came with a charger and an SD card. They had left a game inside and when I got home I saw that it was Mario kart 7! Great score!

7/25/15: Stopped in a local game store that sometimes sells empty boxes for $3 each. I found all of these with instructions for each for $12 total. Not Bad!
