Yup, it's on an SNES cart. Just put your email in the correct area and pay the $10 or whatnot via paypal for the pre-order.

CORRECTION: Maybe you're right JD, as the SNES cart may just be decorative. Check out their Kickstarter page:

The creator of Armed for Battle had us passing out flyers for it at TooManyGames, so I would think that means it is well along.

I think it would be cool to add games in development as well that don't necessarily have a set release date but that the creator is hoping to put on a cart.

Nope. It's one of those "phony" games that really wants retro people to believe it's retro, but instead is just a modern game with a retro skin.

Everything I've seen of it suggests it's actually impossible for it to be put on a legit SNES cart.

So yeah, it's a PC game aimed at retro gamers. Not an SNES release.

It's in Action 53. And I believe there was a cart release, too.

Pretty sure there was not a cart release of Steemerz, besides Action 53, but the ROM was released for free.

If you find one, PM me the link, i'd be interested in seeing it.

Also, speaking of this topic, what happened with your own Kaboom homebrew?  any plans of a cart release and is it finished?

The previous thread you mention isn't really about Future releases. The thread hadn't even been commented in for 5 months until I commented several weeks ago. In fact, it's only had 3 comments in 2013 besides my own. Also, the thread title "Complete Nintendo Hombrew List" has Homebrew spelled incorrectly. Not to mention, the homebrew lists aren't up to date or accurate, as I have bought several homebrews for the GBA and NES that were not on the "complete" lists. It seems as if that thread has not been very active as of lately, and clearly not updated since January 5 of this year, roughly 7 months ago.

According to the 'Complete Nintendo Homebrew List' here on NA updated in January 2013, there are several other games in the works that have not yet been mentioned in this thread:

Kaboom will be released one day, it just needs more features put in. And testing. I actually got a vaus yesterday to test it with, and it worked perfect.

Battleball was finished years ago I thought? Hellraiser won't ever be finished. NVJI should definitely be on this list, as MRN is pretty close to finishing it I believe. Project P as well. Unicorn was mentioned on a previous page by WhatULive4 I believe, but it won't be released before Leisure Suit Larry so I didn't bother saying anything about it.

Never heard of Orbit Ooze.

That's not an official cart release.  Coinheaven will make a homebrew-repro cart of anything that was offered as a free-to-use rom.  That's not a whole lot different than me, making one by myself with a different label.  All the same, I like Joe's work, and purchase stuff from him all the time.

I consider official releases when any of these things are present:
Self-published.
there was an official arrangement made by the game-maker and a repro-maker
when new parts were used. 
some sort of announcment was made regarding the cart release.
