Hello everyone and welcome to the latest installment of the Weekly Contests!  The final regular contest of 2016 is going to be Kick Master.  Here are the rules:
 

• Start a brand new game (no using passwords
• Play until Game Over
• Take your picture on the Game Over screen
• No continuing allowed
• Looping of the game will be allowed (it gets progressively harder the more you loop it)
• Highest score wins
• Participation: 20,000
• GENRE: Beat 'Em Up

The contest ends Sunday, 10/9/16 at 11 PM NA time.  Your user name MUST be written or typed on a piece of paper and be in the picture for your score to be valid.  The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid.  No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted.  No screenshots by hitting "print screen" on a computer will be allowed.  You must take a picture of your computer monitor.  There may be instances where this will be acceptable, but it will be at the discretion of myself and the contest organizers.  Also, the use of turbo controllers is forbidden, as well as any cheat codes, Game Genies, slow motion functions, or save states if playing on an emulator.  Also, we will only be using NTSC systems for the contests.  The use of PAL systems will NOT be allowed.  Good luck everyone and have fun

Who all owns this game? It's $100 or more now.

I bought from a member specifically for this contest. But I had to buy a lot of games for that purpose so I had a good plan in place to spread them out

I got my copy from www.dkoldies.com... back in May of 2008 for 99 cents. Yesterday was the first time I played it, and I played it on my PC to check it out.

I have to give this game credit for having an intelligent scoring system. Endless point racking seems to be impossible. You don't get any points when you kill enemies during a boss fight.

I do   Got a nice deal on it last week actually, but I'very been lost in Shadow of the Colossus so will start it up probably later in the week.

Got mine for $19.99 on eBay maybe a couple of months before it spiked in price.

I played through it one night with a friend up to the final level, but now I don't remember anything from what I played back then.

I like it. Though I wish I knew how to get all the power-ups. Guess I'll have to watch a longplay for that.

I bought mine from Krunch.....that bastard told me later he got it for next to nothing just to rub it in hahahahahahah

Once you start getting knocked off platforms into pits in level 4, ugh...
