After I beat this the first time I put it down for over a year. Recently after watching speedruns I started again and recently been trying sword only after seeing your challenge

Off topic but what would the easiest way to actually record NES gameplay?

Definitely the easiest way if you don't mind playing on an emulator instead of real hardware.

Otherwise you have to use a camera to record your TV while you're playing, or use a USB video capture device.

The other day I ordered a tripod from Amazon that is compatible with tablets so that I can aim it at the TV better. I'll see how that works.

What controller are you using? It is very loud and reminds me of someone smacking their lips while chewing gum.

Those fancy capture devices can't be hooked up with a NES somehow?

Lol an original nes controller. When I want to run and slash jump quickly I sort of slide my thumb across the B A buttons. The video makes it sound louder I think because of the proximity of my tablet recording to me

Yeah, you can record with pretty much any of the mainstream capture cards. You can even get a non HD one like a dazzle which are probably really cheap these days. I bought one 4 or 5 years ago for $50 brand new. I use a Hauppauge capture card now and it can record NES all the way up to 1080P PS4 gameplay.

My video shows a somewhat easy method to beat Jaquio if you're still having trouble with him. Or at least it's how I do it.

from the actual hardware - capture card. You can get cheap USB ones (BA had linked me to the EasyCap for like, $10 a few years back, and it works pretty well for the most part). Just avoid cheap Chinese knockoffs as the drivers are a pain to hunt down (which happened with the one I got, it was a knock off EasyCap - EZCap or something like that).
