Damnit, this is one of those impossible-to-capture-your-score games. After dying it says Game Over, and goes right to the menu screen where there's no record of previous attempts.

With the one life rule, this should not be a problem Deniz.

Oops . Well now that makes things interesting...I was having trouble getting past level 2 without dying.

Shoot, I've only got the first 2 games. I'll have to sit out until next round.

I have a deep hatred for the Adventure Island games, and I totally suck at these games (though sucking at a game has nothing to do with why I hate it, I sucked at Battletoads for years and always loved that one, just something about the game that annoys me), though if I was near my NES I would play it anyway regardless of whatever crappy score I got. As is I tried to play on emulator and can't even get the necessary participation points, 1 hit kill games are extremely difficult to play using a keyboard. So I'll just sit back and watch, hopefully it'll be as fun as last week's contest.

i was thinking about Journey to Silius, theres not a point system for that game.

Yeah, but then we need video proof, and not everyone can do a video. And posting approximate time based on looking at a clock from such and such starting time to ending time just wouldn't work.

Man, this game... I loathe it.

Like 1943, I'll probably sit this one out too since I don't have this game. I suppose I could play it on an emulator, but I suck at playing NES games on a keyboard. That's okay, I've got a lot of stuff to do this week anyway.

It took me a half hour to just get a submittable (above the Participation point) score.  I'm not posting until I do something better...  that being said, I might not be posting. 

I got 20.400 on my second try on emulator, but debating whether to post it. Probably because I know for sure that I'm not going to be able to get at my NES to get in a real legitimate attempt, and I don't want to feel like I just barely passed just to get participation points.

Thank you for the offer Patrick, but even if I had the money for the shipping, how to get it to you is another thing, plus it don't matter, haven't found a way to play on any emulator yet for very long without my laptop overheating where I have to quit playing within a half hour time just so things don't get screwy (most emulators), or have to play with a very tiny barely visible screen such as with FCEU.

I got 28K but I know I can do better, so I won't even post for now. Is warping allowed? I mean, it got me to a few levels ahead when I died, so I don't know if it can help me that much anyways. Plus, it would get me far into the game, and it's not like anyone's gonna be able to beat the whole game without a single death.
