Ha well you kinda live in the area where they might turn up around, but online it fetches way more money than I'd be willing to pay for a terrible Christian album. It's very very rare and has become a popular meme to boot. But that cover is just so good, I'll always want a copy.

^^^It's funny how something that was pressed in such a small number that the dude only ever sold them out of his trunk, got famous enough to get voted to the top 10 worst album covers of all time.

I'm sure someone here can appreciate this one I found at a Goodwill about a month ago.

Pretty sure location was the key for me. I picked that up in SE South Dakota, only a couple hours away from where that guy lives. I considered making the drive down to meet him and see if he'd sign it.

Do you have any references for sales? At the time I couldn't find anything remotely recent.

I stopped buying Vinyl when CD's came out back in the 80's but I still have them. I have a bunch of picture discs also. Pretty sure one of them is an Iron Maiden 45 that isn't round. Another one I have is a Scorpions Virgin Killer German version (Kiddie Porn cover). Banned in the USA. Try and find the pic yourselves. I'd probably get busted for posting it.

Yeah I've seen that album cover before online. I didn't know a picture disc version of it existed though. Pretty cool.

Sorry for the confusion. The Scorpions Album isn't a picture disc.
Another colectors item I have is a Mobil Fideltiy Beatles Box Set. Bought it brand new about a week after it came out. I think I've listedn to them twice.

Btw the ventures is petty sweet to listen to, nice chill music

Yeah they got a totally cool vibe, all fenderish straight from the late 50's and 60's. I also watched a few vintage video of them (there's a bunch on youtube) and I was impressed by how they were playing with confidence on stage. They pull full of variations of their songs like its nothing.

Oh wow, thanks man, that's so awesome of you to post all those pics. I was particularly looking for Walk Don't Run, and I'll be able to write up some conventional tabs out of these sheets.

I'm gonna have to check out that Kovenant. I love BM and I see Hellhammer in the back there...it's gotta be good.

Their first couple of The Kovenant albums(back when they were still called Covenant, and not to be confused with EBM band of the same name) were black metal, but , Animatronic (this one) and S.E.T.I.(the one after) are straight up industrial. I love them both. Industrial/metal has been my favorite type of music since the 90s. I guess a lot of black metal fans probably wouldn't like this too much though. Check it out, let me know what you think.
I'm a huge rivethead myself. Just saw Skinny Puppy/FLA/Haujobb at the Vic in Chicago. Amazing! Front 242 was out this way recently too at the Metro. Thorns is a great example of a BM/Industrial hybrid that really works well. Later Samael releases implement a lot of electronics too. BM, Industrial and Ambient go hand in hand for me.

Same here. Damn, that Ralf und Florian vinyl is super hard to find! Bathory's Hammerheart is a supreme masterpiece and the Burzum vinyls are absolutely beautiful. I need to track down Hvis lyset tar oss myself.

My Grandma went loony (long story) and decided to sell her house for no reason. On the upside I managed to snag some records. (Beatles '65 was in my garage prior)

Indeed Ralf und Florian is very difficult to come across. Very fortunate to own an original copy of it.

Couldn't have said it better myself about Hammerheart, Quorthon was such a groundbreaking artist. Always one step ahead of the rest.

I'd like to finally add Filosofem to the collection, as well as some of the albums that were put out after Varg was released from prison such as Belus and Sol Austan Mani Vestan.

This has got to me the rarest LP in my collection, from 1966, the scarce Stereo version (much more so than Mono)
This came from my Grandfather's attic last year and looked like it hadn't seen the light of day in over 40 years.
There are actually two copies on eBay right now that are way cheaper than they should be.
Most people think The Beatles version of "Ain't She Sweet" was never released in the United States until 1995 in Anthology,
but that is completely wrong, for years THIS record was the only American release that contained that song.

I also collect a lot of popular 90's albums on vinyl, these are my four rarest that still have the shrinkwrap intact.
It took me over two years of searching eBay constantly for Vanilla Ice To The Extreme to finally pop up, I truly believe it is extremely rare.

Yeah they just played here in Portland last night. I didn't get to go though.
I've never heard of Thorns, but I'll have to check it out. I'm a big fan of the later Samael too.

Solar Soul is the holy grail of my collection. Not only is it my favorite Samael album,  but  it is limited, numbered 28 of 666. Two colored vinyl with a full sized 12 inch 8 page lyric booklet singned by three members.
My camera sucks .
