Which Zelda is your favorite for home console, handheld, spin offs and CDi? Not including remakes.

I haven't played breath of the wild yet so not sure how it ranks. Also haven't played Awakening or the Oracle's but those look like id really like them. Out of what I've played LTTP and LBW are my two favorites

I've never played the CDi games, so I won't vote on those

Kind of hard to answer the first one until BOTW has stood its test of time. I went OOT, LBTW and Hyrule Warriors.

-Zelda 2. Not the best of the bunch but it's my personal favorite

-Link's Awakening. So good. LBW and Minish are honorable mentions. The DS games are terrible.

-Hyrule Warriors. It would have been Four Swords Adventure but every time I start with a group of people we don't finish it and never get back together. Tons of fun, just so hard to get consistent couch co-op now that we're adults. Hopefully my kids will remedy that someday   Triforce Heroes was great but the bad Nintendo servers and asshats online trolling made it too frustrating to complete.

Ocarina of Time - Still can't get over experiencing Hyrule in 3D for the first time.

Link Between Worlds - They really blew it out of the water with this one.

Link's Crossbow Training - For some diversity

Have not played any of the CD-I games.

Wind Waker > Link's Awakening > Four Swords Adventures

Breath of the Wild is honestly close to overtaking Wind Waker though. I can't properly judge it til I finish it but it's definitely one of the best. But right now, still Wind Waker is #1.

There hasn't been a good Zelda game in 25 years.

If you completely ignore the seed thing, the two Oracle games were decent.

 

I'm appalled that I'm the first person to vote for Majora's Mask.

I'm appalled that, collectively, the 2D Zeldas aren't in the lead by a wide margin

I was torn between LoZ and Link. I do tend to play Link more, just because you can drive right in really. But I ended up going with LoZ if only out of nostalgia.

Link Between Worlds has topped the handheld ones for me. Use to be ages/seasons, but LBW is just better in retrospect.

I don't really care for any of the spin-offs or CDi games

For me, so far it has been BoTW, hands down for my favorite Zelda game of all time, and when it comes to portables I loved ALBW so that was my pick, although Spirit Tracks was a close second if only for nostalgic reasons, I also did very much like Phantom Hourglass and Minish Cap as well, and for some reason Link's awakening just didn't seem to click with me, dunno why, and because of that I haven't played the oracle games yet, infact I've probably got the most unpopular opinion of all time, I love the handheld Zelda games every one else hates, and I dislike the one everyone loves. Oh well   Spin-off wise I've only played Four Swords Adventures a couple times, but those couple times were extremely fun so I'll go with that, and while I haven't played the CDI Zelda games, I have watched all 3 of them being beaten to completion, and my favorite of the 3 is The Faces of Evil.

Well right now I have to say Link to the Past. I'm currently playing through Breath of the Wild and having an excellent time, but I don't want to say it's better before I beat Ganon.
