Man I've only scored 650k so far. I think I can beat this game before the competition is over, maybe lol.

Never really played this one much. Learning the boss battles and I'm getting better.

It would take some time to test, more than I have right now. I'm actually travelling this week, otherwise I might have given this one a try for old times' sake.

Last night I was able to get to Super Shredder with a score of 970,300 and after trying to figure out how many points I "left on the table", I'm guessing it's possible to get to him with a score around 980k if you played an absolute perfect game.

I killed most of the gun wielding rock soldiers with jump kicks. There are maybe 15 of those in the game, so that would be about 3000. I avoid the mousers in the MM fight as much as possible. I don't think I killed more than 10. I also threw maybe 20 foot soldiers, so that's another 4000. That really only leaves the surfboard level for extracting more points. There are definitely enough points there theoretically for maxing, but I don't know if it's humanly possible to pull it off.

Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

I'd say that there are enough enemies in the game to do it, but like you said, I don't think it's humanly possible unless someone can flip those electric jellyfish at a really fast pace.

Great scores, all! I've only gotten the time to play once this week and at this rate I'm headed to Participation Point City if I don't get another chance!

I updated my score, but you still beat me by almost 20k. I doubt I'll be able to make another run at it, so congrats on the amazing score!

I had a real rage moment last night. Beat the game, and maxed the score with 2 lives in stock. All of a sudden my old ass post-it note of my screen name that was on the T.V. for the whole Super Shredder fight decided to fall off as I'm getting ready to snap a pic. I couldn't get it back on quick enough to take a picture. I ripped that thing up into a couple dozen pieces and punched my T.V. (poor Trinitron did nothing wrong) out of anger.

Yeah, it's funny you say that because Leo is my least favorite turtle. I have a different favorite for each game. I like Don in 2, Leo in 3, Raph in 4, and Mike in 5. Don is my favorite overall.

I guess the bronze coin and banned buttons must be right next to each other. At least it makes for a funny story that you got banned for making a donation.

Thanks guts,  I managed to best it last night, and the new post-it note stayed on the T.V.

Score pre-Super Shredder Fight: 989,500

Final Score: 999,900 with 4 lives left or
1,089,500 if we're doing the 100K bonus on top of the pre-Super Shredder fight

I hope this submission counts.  I was kind of in a rush to snap a picture after what happened to me on my last attempt and forgot to turn the flash on.  It's dark, but you can still kind of make out my screen name on the post-it note.

I did a lot of optimal point kills this playthrough.  Defeated all Rock Soldiers with the sword, defeated most of the Foot Soldiers with the sword, even attacked the spere Foot Soldiers on the hover platforms with the sword (jump kicking the platforms are only worth 200 pts. but a sword slash nets you 400 pts.).  Most small enemies were killed with the up thrust toss for 1000 pts. each, and I avoided killing Mousers spawned from the Mother Mouser fights with any attack other than a jump kick.

Since you beat the game, I'm pretty sure that makes your official score 1,089,500 based on the way we are doing the scoring this week (pre Super Shredder score + 100k bonus for beating the game). That's amazing!

Wow! That's amazing! I didn't think of trying to kill the hover board guys with the regular attack. Those blue ones seem like they are higher up than the others. Did you have to wait for them to try to squash you or what? What about the surfboard level?

I still jump kicked the blue ones.  I didn't want to risk getting squashed.  Only the pink spear ones were the ones I slashed at.  As far as the surboard level, I just risk taking damage and try to kill as many jellyfish as possible.  I'm also trying to get a bunch of the jumping foot soldiers just for the points.  Ground Chuck is an easy boss so I'm not too worried about losing health.

And bearcat-doug, where was this 100k bonus deal agreed on?  I didn't notice it in bimmy lee's opening post.

Ah, didn't know about that. Well, then anyone that get to Shredder with a score of 900k should take a picture before battling him, so the player with the highest score before beating him (and beating him to get the 100k) gets precedence. Sounds good?

999,990 (1,009,000) (Game Completed)

Finally beat the game and got this paltry score. So I killed most standard enemies with no throws or special attacks and threw all small enemies for the 1000 points. I didn't do much with the jellyfish as I always dodged them and so my timing was usually off and I'll be damned if I'm losing a life on level 2. I also threw maybe five or six mousers total. (they seem more grabby than TMNT 2) While not really the kind of run I was aiming for,I'll take it.
