Hello, Nintendo DS fan here!

I came across N. A. while looking for a place to talk about my favourite Nintendo console, the DS. I'm also very much interested in buying a GameBoy Advance and beginning a collection of GBA and DS games.

Would you consider both systems to be 'retro' by now? Beginning to feel a little bit old here, hehe...  

In any case, I hope to have a good time here, and thanks for having me!

Hi, welcome! The GBA I feel reaches into "retro" territory, while the DS still feels kinda fresh with its 3D graphic capabilities, and with them having carried on with the name brand "DS" even to this day through the 3DS.

I sort of feel anything that uses a rom cartridge is retro. But it seems like things pushing the 20 year mark hover around retro. It can be a polarizing subject sometimes. 😀

That's true. I guess I'm just nostalgic for the glorious days of the DS Lite... :"3 Gladly, we still have the 3DS ^^

Welcome! I would say yes to GBA being retro. But not DS. I feel like he DS era hasn't completely ended yet with 3DS games still being sold, and not even discounted yet.
