The tutorial I read said ripping the connection for the frontlight from the other ribbon would be fine, which I did.  My problem is that where the solder points are is between a gap in the ribbon.  When i pulled it, one solder point stayed, but the other stayed on the other piece.  Im sort of new to electronic side of modding, so what im wondering is, if both leads that run to the gap in the ribbon are exposed, is it possible to reattatch everything when soldering, or am i screwed and need to track down another broken sp to harvest from?
